According to the newspaper, 290 martyrs from the Military Media were killed during that period, while 46 media professionals were killed and 25 others were wounded from the national media.
According to figures published by the newspaper, international journalists have been denied entry to Yemen 143 times.
Likewise, the aggression destroyed 23 media facilities, and targeted 30 broadcasting and transmission towers. According to the newspaper, it was recorded that the channels were being stopped broadcasting eight times, and were blocked and jammed seven times.
On March 26, 2015, the official Yemeni channels, Al-Yemen, Saba and Al-Iman, were suspended from broadcasting on the Nilesat satellite. About two months later, on May 15, Yemen Al Youm channel was stopped broadcasting on the same satellite.
On November 8, 2018, the Al-Masirah satellite channel was also blocked on the Nilesat satellite, for the third time in one month.
As for social media, the Al-Masirah's Twitter accounts were suspended on October 8, 2020, in addition to the accounts of a number of its employees.
These violations come amid an 8-year Saudi-led war and economic blockade against Yemen, which has turned the country into what the UN calls the "worst humanitarian crisis" on earth.
Media Targets of US-Saudi Aggression in Yemen until 2021
20 April 2015: US-Saudi aircraft bombed and destroyed the Yemen Al Youm channel.
30 April 2015: US-Saudi raids targeted the office of Al-Masirah channel in Sa’adah, where the building was destroyed, and the adjacent buildings were severely damaged.
September 11, 2015: The aggression bombed the buildings of Yemen and Saba channels.
9 November 2015: the aggression’s warplanes destroyed the Hodeidah Radio building and the terrestrial broadcasting station.
30 November 2015: The Hajjah Radio building was destroyed.
4 October 2016: The stores of the 26 September newspaper were targeted in the Al-Balayli neighborhood in the capital Sana'a.
9 December 2017: The Yemen TV channel was targeted.
March 1, 2018: The aggression destroyed radio transmission towers in Jabal Aiban, Sana'a, for: Sana'a Public Program, Sam FM, Yemen FM, September 21 Radio, Watan, Al Shaab, Afaq.
16 September 2018: Al-Hadidiya Radio was targeted, which led to the destruction of the building and radio equipment.
16 May 2019: The office of the Ministry of Information was targeted, in conjunction with the targeting of the house of the head of the Yemeni Media Union, Abdullah Sabri. He was wounded, while his mother and two sons were killed.
