News - Yemen: Major marches were organized in various Yemen’s governorates to commemorate martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the third Shia Imam and the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon Him) and to condemn insults to the Holy Quran.

The participants affirmed that the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him symbolize the never-ending and unwavering stance of truth against falsehood and humanity’s struggle against injustice, tyranny and oppression, the cause for which Imam Hussein (AS) was martyred.

They affirmed adherence to the great values and principles for which Imam Hussein bin Ali, peace be upon them both, sacrificed, rejected humiliation and submissiveness.

The march statement affirmed that the Yemeni people have made their choice and their decision to adhere to Islam that liberates them from every tyrant led by the US and the Zionist lobby and their agents.

It reaffirmed the Yemeni people's principled stance towards the nation's issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, its hostile stance against the Zionist enemy and American arrogance, and solidarity with the peoples of the Islamic nation.

It denounced all forms of normalization and relations with the Zionist enemy, stressing the principled stand with the axis of resistance and jihad against the Jews and Zionists until they are defeated, and the sanctities in Palestine are liberated.

The statement strongly condemned the repeated abuses of the Holy Quran in Sweden and Denmark, who are doing so in response to the directives of the Zionist-Jewish lobby.

It called on all Arab and Muslims to take firm and serious stances, sever diplomatic relations with them, and economic boycott of their products.

Addressing the US-Saudi aggression, the participants confirm readiness to confront aggression, siege, and arrogance," stressing that the position of the Yemeni people in confronting the brutal US-Saudi-Emirati-Zionist aggression against Yemen is a principled position.
