The parliament referred to the devastating effects of the aggression and blockade on the Yemeni people, stressing the importance of true peace, which the Leader of the Revolution touched upon in his speech.
Earlier, Sayyed Abdulmlik Al-Houthi affirmed that the Saudi hostile policies and blatant interference in the affairs of the Yemeni people will not bring them peace.
“The Yemeni people cannot remain silent about this situation in which our people are suffering greatly, and we cannot remain silent about what the Saudis and Emiratis want to implement for the Americans and British against our country through war, occupation and deprivation of national wealth,” Sayyed Abdulmlik said.
“The Saudi regime should not imagine that it is able to evade reconstruction, withdraw of foreign forces. Our people will not forget what it did to them in terms of killing and destruction, and the current situation can never continue. The Saudi regime must be aware of this fact”, Sayyed Abdulmlik added.
He stated that the Saudi regime must realize that his continued implementation of American and British plans will have dire consequences for Saudi Arabia.
He pointed out that it is not possible for a Saudi regime to live in security and prosperity and move investments in NEOM, while the blockade, suffering and misery of our people continue. The Saudi regime should not imagine that our country will remain destroyed and besieged, and our people will starve and suffer, and that he will distance itself from the consequences of all that.’’
He affirmed that the Saudi regime's hostile and wrong policies against Yemen will not bring peace. The Saudi cannot distance himself from the consequences and obligations as a result of the unjust aggression and siege against our people for 8 years.
Sayyed Abdulmlik said that the siege and the devastation continue, and the endeavor to dismantle the country and occupy a wide part of it, cannot pass, adding that when a ship arrives at the port of Hodeidah, it arrives after a long series of contacts, follow-ups and mediations, and the flights are very limited from Sana'a airport after a hard effort.
He added: We cannot remain silent about what is happening for a long time, and we have given enough room for mediation. He stressed that if positive developments did not take place and the unjust measures were not addressed, and the Saudis regime did not stop its hostile approach, then our position would be resolute and stern.
He mentioned that throughout the past period we have worked to develop our military capabilities with all we can for the sake of our sacred goal of confronting the enemies and repelling injustice against our people.
He warned the forces of aggression, saying: We cannot and will not be silent about continuing to deprive our people of their wealth, the occupation of our country, and the state of aggression and siege.
He added: If they want peace, the path to peace is clear, and there are no impossible conditions on our part.
