Assassination of Tribal Sheikh in Lahaj by Gunmen Affiliated with STC
News - Yemen: Gunmen assassinated a tribal sheikh in the Al-Waht area of Lahj Governorate, which is under the control of the US-Saudi aggression and its tools.
Local sources stated that gunmen shot Sheikh Adel Obaid Al-Azibi, who is the brother of one of the most prominent sheikhs of the Sabr Lahj region, who opposes the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).
The sources pointed out that citizens tried to provide first aid to al-Azibi, but he died on the spot.
The sources confirmed that the killer was Abdul Hadi Faraj, one of the leaders in the STC.
