News - Yemen: The southern governorates under the US-Saudi occupation witnessed Wednesday angry protesters, closing the main roads in Lahj Governorate.

According to sources in Lahj, one of the most important main streets in Tiban district, was closed by protesters who burned tires and chanted against the forces of aggression and occupation and their mercenaries.

The protesters denounced the deterioration of services, the power outage, and the security chaos.

On Wednesday, unknown gunmen assassinated Sheikh Adel Obaid Al-Azibi, one of the most prominent sheikhs opposed to the so-called UAE-backed "Transitional Council", in Lahj governorate.

It is noteworthy that the rapporteur of the Southern Front to resist the invasion and occupation, Ahmed Al-Ali, confirmed in a statement that the situation in the southern governorates under the Saudi-Emirati occupation is very bad, threatening a revolution soon.

Aden and the southern governorates are witnessing security chaos, and almost daily crimes, under the control of the forces of US-Saudi aggression and Saudi-Emirati occupation. 

In addition to kidnapping, bombings and clashes between militants fighting for influence, people in southern Yemen witness an increase in the number of assassinations involving military personnel, security leaders, religious and social figures.
