News - Yemen: Hadramout Governor Luqman Barras denounced Thursday the arrival of the Washington ambassador and dozens of US Marines to the province.

He stressed that the hostile movements in the various southern governorates, on land and at sea, are monitored by the Armed Forces and the free people of Hadramaut.

The Governor of Hadhramaut considered this appearance of US troops a new challenge to the will of the free people of Hadhramaut, who rejected the positioning of the invading British forces in Gail Bawazir, northeast of the city of Mukalla. 

He indicated that the people rejected the provocative American moves and condemned the visit of the Marines to secondary schools in the city.

Governor Paras stressed that the American, British, Saudi and Emirati presence in the oil province and the occupied southern provinces, with the aim of plundering wealth, will not last long.

He held the pro-aggression government responsible for neglecting national sovereignty.

Earlier, the so called US ambassador, Stephen Fagin, arrived in the city of Seiyun, the center of the Hadramout Valley districts, following the military deployment of US Marines near the city.

Fagin's visit to Seiyun comes a day after a US official, accompanied by Saudi officers, visited a school outside the city, amid the heavy and unjustified deployment of the US Marines.

Informed sources in Seiyun said that, after his arrival, Fagin will hold a meeting with the leaders of the local authorities affiliated with the US-Saudi aggression in Wadi Hadramout.
 
It is noteworthy that US Forces use a military base in Hadramout, according to the Pentagon's confessions last February. The American and British forces are present in the eastern oil provinces of Yemen, with the growing conflict between its tools, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Hadhramout is witnessing a growing Saudi-Emirati conflict with the implementation of local tools, and a race to extend influence and monopolize the governorate's wealth.

The clash that took place reflects the escalation of violence between the mercenary parties. This means that the Saudi-Emirati dispute has reached an acute point. However, it did not depart from the circle of American and British control, as the two countries have recently worked to double their presence in the eastern provinces, within the division project that goes beyond the idea of the two countries into multiple and conflicting states.

Saudi and Emirati ambitions, and the conflict between the components foreshadows a major clash in the foreseeable future, the citizens of Hadramout will be its first victims. And the alleged development project promoted by Saudi Arabia will result in security chaos, imbalances, and a lack of services.
