Al-Mahra Sit-in Committee Calls for Unifying of Yemeni People to Expel Foreign Troops

News - Yemen: The official spokesman for the Al-Mahra sit-in committee, Ali Mubarak Mahamed, affirmed the committee’s firm position rejecting the presence of any foreign troops on the lands of Al-Mahra and all the governorates of Yemen.

In his tweet on the (X) platform, Muhammad wrote, “We affirm our firm position rejecting the presence of any foreign troops on our lands and in all governorates of Yemen and the legitimization of their presence through suspicious deals,” calling for the need to unify all free Yemenis to expel these forces from Yemen airports, ports, and islands. ".

He added: "The arrival of more foreign forces in these governorates came only because of the neglect of national sovereignty by officials and leaders of the so-called Presidency Council and the pro-aggression government, who legitimize their presence through suspicious deals to sell ports, as happened in Qishn and deals to sell the communications and oil sectors."

He pointed out that the recent developments in the eastern governorates reveal to public opinion what the Al-Mahra Peaceful Sit-in Committee warned about the goals and ambitions of the occupation and its efforts to establish military bases in Al-Mahra, Socotra, Hadramaut, Shabwa, and the Yemeni islands.

The United States continues its escalatory steps in the region, which reinforce efforts to obstruct peace in Yemen. In early August, it announced the arrival of additional forces to the Red Sea, which represents a direct threat to the territorial waters, islands and Yemeni governorates, especially in light of the declared American insistence on continuing the aggression and blockade.

The US Fifth Fleet said in a statement that "more than 3,000 Marines and sailors arrived in the Middle East," noting that "amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 50) and dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) entered the Red Sea."

On Wednesday, President Al-Mashat warned the US Marines and British forces in the occupied provinces not to go too far as "Yemen is a red line."

He addressed these forces saying, "Yemen possesses drones and rocket power, and it has a leader with a light hand on the trigger."

"We rely on Allah at the forefront, on the awareness of this people, and the courage and wisdom of our leadership. These are the elements that will lead our country out of this crisis to safety," he added. He pointed out that the people and loyal tribes are the safety valve against all enemy conspiracies.
