News – Yemen The 8th Presidential Protection Brigade carried out a military maneuver, entitled Maoled Al-Nour( Prophet Mohammed's Birthday), coinciding with the Yemeni people’s preparations to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday and the Revolution.

Brigadier General Al-Mutawakkil, Brigadier General Abdul-Samad Al-Mutawakkil from the 8th Brigade, Presidential Protection, said that the difficult circumstances that the Islamic nation in general and Yemen in particular are going through, including dangers and challenges from the forces of tyranny and arrogance, US and Israel, and their agents, made it necessary for the Yemeni army to carry out its duty, prepare, and be fully prepared to confront these dangers and challenges.

He considered the "Mawlid Al-Nour" maneuver a drop from the iceberg, and a special symbolic battalion, to send a message to the enemy and its tools to be ready and active for any confrontation required by the field in any place and time.

Brigadier General Al-Mutawakkil addressed the enemy, saying, "We will fight you on land and sea in a way that you have not witnessed throughout your history. Your fate will be failure and loss, and victory and victory will be ours."

After that, the military maneuver began raining thunderous bullets from the nozzles of machine guns, cannons, and Almoravid vehicles toward the hypothetical enemy positions.

A group of members of the 8th Brigade Presidential Protection Battalion infiltrated enemy positions, while vehicles, cannons, and machine guns continued to fire live ammunition towards the enemy's hypothetical positions, striking them with various types of weapons, to storm them and detonate enemy vehicles and stores.

The heroes of the Eighth Brigade, Presidential Protection, expressed their happiness with conducting this military maneuver, to send a message to the enemy of the full readiness of the brigade's forces to defend Yemen, its sovereignty and independence, and to confront the enemy and thwart its plans.
