News - Yemen: Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi confirmed that the September 21 revolution is one of the most important achievements that Yemeni people have achieve, stressing that it is a revolution that liberated our people from Western guardianship.

In his speech, Thursday, on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik extended congratulations and blessings to our dear people, and to all those who contributed to achieving the historic achievement on September 21st.

In his speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik addressed the situation in Yemen before the September 21 revolution, recalling some of what the country suffered at that time.

He highlighted the role of the US explaining how the US imposed hostile policies that were taking the country toward complete collapse in all areas. The US took advantage of political disagreements to turn the situation into a competition to serve and empower them. Sana'a turned into an open theater for criminals, assassinations, and bombings, enabling the Takfiris to spread in most governorates. The US was pushing the leaders and officials of the previous regime to implement its destructive policies.

Sayyed Abdulmalik explained that our people, with their faith identity and rooted freedom, were lurking for the Americans, stressing that the people rose up in their revolution to put an end to the disaster that was prevailing in the country before September 21st.

The Leader explained the reason for the aggression by saying: “After the failure of their plans to contain the revolution, USA and UK, with Israeli instigation, implicated regional powers, led by the Saudi and Emirati regime, in launching a treacherous aggression against our people.”

Sayyed Abdulmalik added that US-Saudi aggression killed tens of thousands of Yemeni People, committed genocide, and targeted everything in a way that reveals its true nature and goals."

He continued: "With the aggression and siege, the coalition occupied large parts of our country and continued its hostile policy of tearing apart the national fabric and mobilizing the Takfiris and mercenaries against their people and tribes."

Confronting aggression and turning challenges into opportunities

Sayyed Abdulmalik explained that our dear people responded to the aggression with courage, patience, awareness and steadfastness.

He pointed the military achievements, in the Rocketry Force, the air force, naval weapons and air defense, pointing out by saying: “With the severe siege, the target was towards manufacturing all types of weapons and military requirements from the gun to the missile, this is a result opposite to the goals of the aggression coalition.”

On the security side, Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed out that the efforts were success in rebuilding the security services that succeeded in confronting enemy conspiracies.

On the economic side, Sayyed Abdulmalik said: “The enemy’s plots were very despicable. With the severe siege, destruction of factories, and control of gas fields, they targeted the national currency.”

He pointed to the great efforts made by those concerned in the official authorities and the Economic Committee in confronting the enemy’s plots.

On the services side, Sayyed Abdulmalik explained that the official authorities sought to continue providing services, restoring roads, running electricity, and other projects, despite the aggression’s systematic destruction of roads and service facilities.
