News - Yemen: The Call of Dignity Center for Rights and Development strongly condemns the intrusion by UAE-affiliated armed militias into the residence of citizen Mujahid Al-Haiki in the Hadhramaut Governorate during the late hours of the night. This invasion disregarded the sanctity of homes, the safety of women and children, and showed no mercy toward their cries and pleas.

In a statement, the center highlighted that this criminal and unethical act, which is deeply unsettling to all Yemenis, exposes the brutality of the occupying forces and their complete disregard for the sanctity of civilian life. They show no respect for religious values, customs, traditions, or international norms.

The statement considered this vile and inhuman act as an example of the practices of the occupation forces in the occupied Yemeni regions. It coincides with the approaching anniversary of the October 14th Revolution, during which the people of Yemen managed to drive the British occupier out of the southern regions. This occasion should serve as an inspiration for the meanings, lessons, and following in the footsteps of our ancestors to expel the new occupier who commits the worst violations against the Yemeni people in the occupied areas.

The statement urged the inhabitants of the occupied provinces not to remain silent about this blatant violation that tarnishes the land and honor and demonstrates the audacity of the new occupier in violating all human values, divine laws, customs, conventions, and international agreements.

The statement called upon the people of those provinces to expel the occupier and its tools and to create a history that preserves the Yemeni people's rights and safeguards their dignity and honor.

Activists on social media have circulated a video showing the moment when Emirati-affiliated forces raided the home of Mujahid Al-Haiki, entering his bedroom where he was sitting with his children and wife. They attempted to forcefully apprehend him without even allowing him to put on clothing, showing no respect for the sanctity of children and women in their private residence.

Activists held the Emirati-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) responsible for what happened in the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramawt Governorate, regarding the intrusion into homes and the violation of their sanctity.

They pointed out that the campaign of home invasions occurred just days after a delegation from the STC visited Mukalla and incited for narrow political goals, emphasizing that terrorizing innocent civilians, especially women and children, will not go unnoticed.

This incident has sparked outrage and anger among Yemenis in general, condemning these unethical and inhumane actions that go beyond the boundaries of religion, tradition, and society.

The southern governorates are currently grappling with severe security chaos and a nearly daily surge in criminal activities. These areas are under the control of the forces of the US-Saudi aggression and the Saudi-Emirati occupation, where a growing number of assassinations are targeting military personnel, security leaders, religious figures, and social figures.
