"Israeli crimes are escalating with American support and protection," Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti tweeted. "There are currently no clear deterrent actions being taken by Arab and Islamic governments."
Al-Bukhaiti described the Cairo peace summit as "straying from its original context."
He continued, saying, "It is imperative to link the survival of any ruling regime to the extent of its support for Palestine. This should begin with cutting diplomatic relations with Israel and expelling US forces from Islamic countries."
According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, Western delegations reportedly refused to hold Israel accountable for war crimes and opposed the permanent opening of the Rafah border crossing.
Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in Cairo reported a dispute between the Arab and Western delegations at the "Cairo Peace Summit," which hindered the formulation of a closing statement.
Among the points of disagreement was the Western delegations' refusal to demand a ceasefire or hold "Israel" responsible for civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip.
Additionally, Western delegations rejected the call for the permanent opening of the Rafah border crossing.
There were also reports of efforts by Western delegations to prevent the issuance of a final statement by the Summit.
