In a statement, the Council emphasized that this operation is part of a just struggle and a practical implementation of the directives issued by Sayyed Abdulmalik to monitor and target enemy ships in the Red Sea. These actions are carried out as a legitimate response to the ongoing aggression, the killing of Palestinians, and the Zionist-American-Western war.
The statement reiterated that this operation reflects the promise made by Sayyed Abdulmalik in his historic speech, which resonated with the spirit of the Arab Nakba. In that speech, he vowed to defeat Israeli ships as a symbolic victory against the daily bloodshed perpetrated by the Zionist entity in the Gaza Strip and the occupied territories.
It highlighted that the Yemeni people have made their decision and wholeheartedly support the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council from the outset of the Al-Aqsa Storm Battle. They are unwavering in their determination to advance towards Al-Quds and provide unwavering support to the Palestinian cause, despite the ongoing aggression endured for nearly nine years.
The Council reiterated its support for escalating and continuing targeted operations against the Zionist entity, whether in the Red Sea or deep within the occupied territories. These operations will persist until the aggression against Palestine ceases, the occupier withdraws from all Palestinian territories, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Holy Al-Quds as its capital is realized.
On Sunday, Yemeni Armed Forces announced the seizure of the Israeli ship in the Red Sea, in accordance with Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi's directives, responding to the Yemeni people's demands and in solidarity with oppressed Palestinians facing a harsh blockade and continuous Israeli assaults.
The statement clarified that the Yemeni Naval Forces guided the ship to the Yemeni coast, adhering to Islamic teachings in handling the crew.
Earlier, a warning was issued by the Armed Forces to Israeli-affiliated ships, designating them as legitimate targets, urging nations with citizens working in the Red Sea to avoid involvement with such vessels.
The Yemeni military operations against Israel are set to continue until Gaza's aggression ceases, citing the Zionist entity as the primary threat to regional stability and international waterways.
The Yemeni Armed Forces stressed that their actions solely target Israeli-associated vessels, reinforcing the call for global intervention to halt Israeli aggression in Gaza.
Israeli media reported the ship's ownership by Israeli businessman Rami Ungar, linked closely to Mossad. They expressed grave concern over the Yemeni-led seizure, viewing it as a direct challenge to Israel's interests and trade.#Shura Council about 5 days
