News - Yemen: The Naval Forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out on Monday a military operation against two ships linked to the Israeli entity. 

The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Yahya Sare'e, explained in a statement that the Naval Forces targeted Swan Atlantic, which was loaded with oil, and MSC Clara, carrying containers.

Sare’e emphasized that the targeting of these two ships was in solidarity with the Palestinian people who are currently facing killing, destruction, and siege in the Gaza Strip. The operation was also a response to the calls made by the free people of Yemen and the nation. 

He stated that the military operation against the two ships occurred after their crews refused to respond to the Yemeni Naval Forces' warnings.

He emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces have reassured all ships heading to ports around the world, except for Israeli ports, that they will not face any harm and are advised to keep their identification systems active. 

Sare'e reiterated that the Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to target any ship that violates the statements previously made by the Armed Forces.

The Armed Forces have pledged to target any vessels utilizing Yemen's territorial waters to reach the occupied territories until the Israeli regime lifts its siege of Gaza.

Since the regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza commenced in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation.

In recent actions, the Armed Forces have conducted attacks on ships suspected of ties to Israel near Yemeni ports. On November 19, they intercepted and seized a vessel believed to be associated with the Tel Aviv regime.

Consequently, certain shipping companies with vested interests in occupied Palestine redirected their vessels, opting for longer routes around Africa to evade Yemeni attacks.

The ongoing siege has inflicted heavy casualties on Palestinians in Gaza, who have been enduring the war since October 7.

Also on Thursday, Gaza's Health Ministry said nearly 19,088 people, mostly women and children, had been killed in the war that the regime started following an operation staged by the Palestinian territory's resistance movements.
