In a statement issued on Friday, the Ministry expressed its outrage at the ongoing systematic crimes and massacres committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza.
The statement denounced the continued besiegement of Al-Awda Hospital, the shooting of medical teams inside it, the rendering of all medical centers in the northern Gaza Strip out of service, the ongoing targeting and arrest of doctors, medical personnel, and paramedics. It also denounced the Israeli enemy's shelling of the vicinity of Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis and the blockade of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society teams in the Zammou area east of Jabalia Al-Balad.
The statement emphasized that these crimes once again confirm that direct American partnership, international complicity, Arab official silence, and feebleness encourage the Zionist enemy to commit further horrifying crimes.
The statement held the US and the Western regimes responsible for the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, killing of doctors and medical personnel.
The deliberate destruction of the health infrastructure, the killing of medical teams, and the destruction of hospitals were deemed unprecedented crimes not witnessed in the history of wars or conflicts governed by international rules, ethics, and laws.
Israeli forces have killed hundreds of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in the past two days, bringing the total number of people killed in the territory to more than 20,000, says the Gaza Health Ministry.
The Gaza ministry said on Friday that 390 Palestinians have been killed and 734 injured in Israel’s airstrikes on Gaza since Wednesday.
The latest fatalities have brought the death toll to at least 20,057 people on Friday. At least 8,000 children and 6,200 women are among those killed.
