Israel Forces Arrest Senior Palestinian Lawmaker Khalida Jarrar in West Bank
News - Middle East: A prominent Palestinian lawmaker from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Khalida Jarrar, has been arrested by Israeli occupation forces.
The Israeli forces raided and searched Jarrar's home in the West Bank on Tuesday, arresting the senior member of the Palestine Liberation Organization faction.
Jarrar, who has been arrested numerous times by the Israeli occupation forces, spent several years imprisoned in Israeli jails, most of these years in solitary confinement.
She was set free in 2021 after about 2 years in prison, mostly in unlawful administrative detention.
