News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces issued a warning to the United States and its supporting countries on Friday against any escalation against Yemen and its people.

In a statement issued by the Armed Forces, they reaffirmed their steadfast and principled position regarding the Palestinian cause, stating that they will not hesitate to take all necessary measures to defend and confront any aggression.

The statement said, "We warn the American enemy against the consequences of any escalation against our country and our people. We also warn all countries that the United States seeks to involve or implicate in protecting the ships of the Zionist enemy."

The statement emphasized that the Armed Forces' position supporting the Palestinian cause and the oppression of the Palestinian people is firm and principled, and will not change regardless of the challenges.

The statement confirmed that the Armed Forces are fully prepared and militarily ready to execute the commands of the leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi at any moment to confront any aggression against their country and people.

The statement concluded with a call to all nations of the Muslim Ummah to come out in support of Palestine and to reject the US-Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Earlier on Wednesday, Colonel Abdullah bin Amer, Deputy Director of Moral Guidance in the Armed Forces, disclosed that the US has realized its inability to breach the maritime blockade enforced by Yemen from the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea on the Zionist entity, while Sana'a remains steadfast against attempts to breach it.

In an affirmation to Al-Masirah, Colonel bin Amer stated that the Armed Forces have strategies to counter the US escalation in the Red Sea, cautioning against transforming the Red Sea into a battleground due to American recklessness.

He clarified that international trade continues to operate smoothly in navigating the Red Sea, despite the hindrance caused by the US military presence.

"The Armed Forces are actively engaged in launching missiles and drones toward occupied Palestine, building upon past successful operations. Our focus is on target selection and bypassing US interception systems and its regional tools," expressed Colonel bin Amer.

Since the Israeli regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza commenced in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation.

In recent actions, the Armed Forces have conducted attacks on ships suspected of ties to Israel near Yemeni ports. On November 19, they intercepted and seized a vessel believed to be associated with the Tel Aviv regime.

Consequently, certain shipping companies with vested interests in occupied Palestine redirected their vessels, opting for longer routes around Africa to evade Yemeni attacks.

The ongoing siege has inflicted heavy casualties on Palestinians in Gaza, who have been enduring the war since October 7.

At least 21,320 people, mostly women and children, have been killed during the Israeli military campaign so far.
