Sana'a Urges Yemenis to Prepare for All Scenarios After US Attack in Red Sea

News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces revealed on Sunday that US forces attacked three vessels owned by the Yemeni Navy while they were fulfilling their humanitarian and ethical duties.

Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, confirmed in a military statement the martyrdom of 10 members of the Yemeni Navy due to the American aggression.

Sare'e stressed that the US would face the consequences and aftermath of this crime. He further mentioned that the American military presence in the Red Sea aimed at shielding Israeli ships would not deter Yemen from fulfilling its religious, moral, and humanitarian obligations in supporting Palestine and Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces urged other nations to avoid engaging in perilous behavior aligned with American actions, warning of negative repercussions that could impact everyone.

Additionally, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the successful execution of a military operation on Sunday targeting the Maersk Hangzhou container ship, en route to ports in occupied Palestine, with precision naval missiles.

Reaffirming their previous statements, the Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated their stance on preventing the passage of all Israeli vessels or those bound for the ports of occupied Palestine. They assured full adherence to maritime traffic to all destinations, except those connected to the Israeli entity.

The Yemeni Armed Forces advised all nations against falling into American plans intended to provoke conflict in the Red Sea. They emphasized their readiness to counter any aggression against their nation and people.

The Yemeni Armed Forces called upon the people of Yemen and all free individuals from Arab and Islamic nations to remain vigilant and prepare for all eventualities to counter American escalation in support of the criminal Zionist entity against people of Gaza.

Earlier on Friday, the Yemeni Armed Forces issued a warning to the US and its allies against any escalation toward Yemen and its populace.

In their statement, the Armed Forces reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause, asserting their readiness to take necessary measures to defend against and confront any aggression.

It reiterated the Armed Forces' steadfast stance in support of the Palestinian cause and opposition to the oppression faced by the Palestinian people, a position unchanging despite challenges.

Since the Israeli regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza commenced in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation.

In recent actions, the Armed Forces have conducted attacks on ships suspected of ties to Israel near Yemeni ports. On November 19, they intercepted and seized a vessel believed to be associated with the Tel Aviv regime.

Consequently, certain shipping companies with vested interests in occupied Palestine redirected their vessels, opting for longer routes around Africa to evade Yemeni attacks.

The ongoing siege has inflicted heavy casualties on Palestinians in Gaza, who have been enduring the war since October 7.
