News - Yemen: Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez condemned the American-British aggression against Yemen and its violation of international law. 

He considered such actions as encouraging Israel to continue genocide in Gaza, renewing the call for an immediate ceasefire in Palestinian enclave.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry had also condemned the American and British aggression against Yemen and its threat to security and stability in the Red Sea region and its navigation.

It affirmed that it is a desperate attempt to divert the attention of the international public opinion from the war crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people, and it emphasizes that Washington is a partner in the Zionist aggression against Yemen.

Meanwhile, Algeria expressed its deep concern and regret over the American-British airstrikes that targeted several cities in Yemen.

The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, affirmed that this dangerous escalation will undermine the efforts made by the United Nations and regional countries to find a solution to the conflict in Yemen.

Early on Friday, the American and British warplanes targeted with 73 missiles five regions of Yemen, including the capital Sana'a and the provinces of Hudaydah, Ta’izz, Hajjah, and Sa’ada, killing at least five people and wounding six others.

The US and UK launched a series of aerial and navy strikes against Yemen in response to the repeated attacks that Yemen conducted on Israeli-bounded ships in the Red Sea. The aggression was conducted with support from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Since the Israeli regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza commenced in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation.

In recent actions, the Armed Forces have conducted attacks on ships that have ties with Israel near Yemeni ports. On November 19, they intercepted and seized a vessel associated with the Tel Aviv regime.
