News - Middle East: Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of at least 24,600 Palestinians, mostly children and women.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Thursday, January 18, are as follows:

Qassam Brigades' operations on Jan. 18:

Targeted an Israeli force in a house with an anti-fortified TBG shell, killing five of its members, east of Khan Yunis.

Detonated a house that had been booby-trapped with a number of explosives after luring 30 soldiers into it, causing deaths and injuries in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis.

Targeted two Merkavas and a “D9” military bulldozer with “Al-Yassin 105” shells in the Abasan area, east of Khan Yunis.

Targeted an Israeli troop carrier at the Hebron military site, east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell.

Targeted an Israeli troop carrier on Jabal al-Rayyis, east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell, and engaged in clashes with soldiers who were next to it, causing deaths and injuries.

Blew up an Israeli military troop carrier with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell near the Eastern Cemetery, east of Jabalia.

Targeted an Israeli military carrier with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell in Khan Yunis.

Targeted two bulldozers with anti-armor devices in the Ma’an area, southeast of Khan Yunis.

Targeted a Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell near the Eastern Cemetery, east of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Clashed with an Israeli infantry force of 12 soldiers and killed 4 at zero distance near the Eastern Cemetery, east of Jabalia.

Targeted a Merkava tank and “D9” military bulldozer with “Al-Yassin 105” shells, south of Khan Yunis.

Bombarded a gathering of Israeli forces penetrating east of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip, with mortar shells.

Targeted a special Israeli military force holed up in a residential building with an anti-fortified TBG shell, east of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, causing casualties. 

Targeted a special Israeli military force holed up inside a building in the Sheikh Ajlin area, southwest of Gaza City, with an anti-fortified TBG shell and engaged in clashes. 

Blew up a tunnel entrance among an infantry force east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

Targeted a Merkava with three soldiers on top of it using an 'Al-Yassin 105' shell east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

Bombarded Kissufim military site with a rocket barrage.

Hezbollah's operations on Jan. 18:

Eastern sector:

At 15:30, the Al-Summaqa site was targeted with missiles.

Western sector:

At 11:00, Israeli soldiers in the Admit barracks were targeted with missiles.

At 1:00 p.m., the Birkat Risha site was targeted with appropriate weapons.

At 14:30, the Al-Malikiyah site was targeted with appropriate weapons.

At 17:00, the Rahib site was targeted with appropriate weapons.

Yemeni military's operations on Jan. 18:

Carried out a targeted operation against an American ship (Chem Ranger) in the Gulf of Aden with several appropriate naval missiles, resulting in direct hits. 

Iraqi resistance's operations on Jan. 18:

Attacked a US-occupied military base near Erbil Airport in northern Iraq with drones.
