News – Yemen: The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Tuesday that the US-British aggression conducted 18 airstrikes on the capital Sana'a and several provinces. Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e stated in a brief statement that these attacks will not go without a response.

Sare'e provided details, saying, "In the past hours, the US-British aggression carried out 18 airstrikes."

He clarified the airstrikes as follows: 12 airstrikes targeted the capital Sana'a and its surroundings, three airstrikes hit the Hodeidah province, two airstrikes were conducted in the Taiz province, and one airstrike occurred in the Al-Baidha province.

Sare'e concluded by affirming that "these attacks will not go unanswered and unpunished," emphasizing that all US-British aggressions will not deter Yemen from supporting the Palestinian people.

The United States and the United Kingdom have carried out a new round of military strikes across Yemen as Yemeni forces continue retaliatory attacks in the Red Sea on Israeli-owned ships or merchant vessels destined for the occupied territories over an unrelenting Israeli onslaught against the Gaza Strip.

The latest US and UK strikes came after the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces said the country’s naval units had struck an American military cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden with several missiles.

Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7 after the territory’s Palestinian resistance movements carried out a surprise retaliatory attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.

The relentless Israeli military campaign against Gaza has killed at least 24,620 people, most of them women and children. Another 61,830 individuals have been wounded.

Reports revealed that Israeli shipping companies have already decided to reroute their vessels in fear of attacks by Yemeni forces.

Yemeni forces have also launched missile and drone attacks on targets in the Israeli-occupied territories after the regime’s aggression on Gaza.
