Yemeni Military Operations in Support of Gaza Continues Despite US-UK Aggression

Yemen: Sana'a has firmly foiled American and British attempts to break the blockade imposed on the Zionist enemy through the Red Sea in support of Gaza.

Yemeni operations have expanded their targets to include American and British ships after the attacks on the Yemeni navy and the aggression against Yemen.

Since the Yemeni Armed Forces entered the war against the Zionist enemy in support of the Palestinian people who are under siege, aggression, and a genocidal war in the besieged Gaza Strip, a series of escalating military strikes have been carried out against the entity and precise operations against Israeli ships or those associated with them in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea. Recently, this also included the ships of the American-British coalition that attacked Yemen in an attempt to break the blockade on the temporary entity.

Firstly, military strikes on the enemy entity:

After 25 days of the American-Zionist aggression on Gaza, the Yemeni armed forces officially announced the first large-scale operation by launching a large number of ballistic and cruise missiles and drones.

It revealed that this is the third operation that targeted Zionist targets in the occupied Palestinian territories in support of the Palestinian people.

Within less than 24 hours, Yemen also announced the targeting of the enemy entity for the fourth time with a significant number of attack drones. The operation continued to target the enemy entity, especially the port of Umm Al-Rashrash, in an escalating series of attacks, the latest of which was on December 26 of this year, as follows:

On October 31, 2023, the Yemeni Armed Forces revealed three military operations against sensitive targets in the Zionist entity using a large number of ballistic and cruise missiles and drones.

On November 1, 2023, the Armed Forces launched a significant number of attack drones on several targets deep inside the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine, and they successfully reached their targets.

On November 6, 2023, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a wave of drones against various sensitive targets of the Israeli enemy in the occupied territories. The operation resulted in the disruption of movement in the targeted bases and airports for several hours.

On November 9, 2023, the Armed Forces launched a barrage of ballistic missiles at different sensitive targets of the Israeli entity in the southern occupied territories, including military targets in the area of Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat). The operation successfully achieved its objectives and caused direct damage to the specified targets.

On November 13, 2023, the Armed Forces launched a wave of drones against different targets of the Israeli enemy in the occupied Palestinian territories, including sensitive targets in the Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat) area.

On November 14, 2023, the Armed Forces launched a barrage of ballistic missiles at different targets of the Israeli enemy in the occupied Palestinian territories, including sensitive targets in the Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat) area.

On November 22, 2023, the Rocketry Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a wave of cruise missiles at various military targets of the Israeli entity in Umm Al-Rashrash, southern occupied Palestine.

On December 6, 2023, the Rocket Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a wave of ballistic missiles at military targets of the Israeli entity in the Umm Al-Rashrash area, southern occupied Palestine.

On December 16, 2023, the unmanned aerial forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation against sensitive targets in the Umm Al-Rashrash area, southern occupied Palestine, using a large number of drones.

On December 26, 2023, Umm Al-Rashrash was targeted by drones in a dual operation by the Yemeni Armed Forces. They successfully targeted Umm Al-Rashrash in the Israeli entity with drones and also targeted the ship (MSC United) with a naval missile in support of the Palestinian people. It is worth noting that this operation came after Washington announced the formation of what it called the Prosperity Alliance in an attempt to break the naval blockade on the Yemeni enemy entity.

With the continuation of the aggression on Gaza, the escalating massacres against the Palestinian people, and the tightening of the Zionist blockade on the Strip with American support and cover, the Yemeni Armed Forces had no choice but to take more effective military options. They imposed a maritime blockade on the temporary entity and carried out several operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

From November 19, 2023, to January 27, 2024, the Yemeni Armed Forces executed 16 maritime operations, targeting 20 ships, including three Israeli-owned ships, six American ships, including a warship, a British oil tanker, and ten ships heading towards the occupied Palestinian ports. Additionally, several ships changed their course in response to warnings and calls from the Yemeni Navy. The Yemeni operations were as follows:

On November 19, 2023, the Yemeni Naval Forces carried out a military operation in the Red Sea, which resulted in the seizure of an Israeli ship named "Galaxy Leader" and taking it to the Yemeni coast. A video documenting the operation was also released.

On December 3, 2023, the Yemeni Naval Forces targeted two Israeli ships in the Bab el-Mandeb strait. The first ship, "United Explorer," was targeted with a naval missile, and the second ship, "Number Nine," was targeted with a maritime drone.

On December 12, the Yemeni Naval Forces carried out a qualitative military operation against the Norwegian ship, Strinda, loaded with oil and heading to the Israeli entity, targeting it with a suitable naval missile.

On December 14, the Yemeni Naval Forces executed a military operation against the container ship, Maersk Gibraltar, heading to the Israeli entity, with a direct hit from a maritime drone.

On December 15, the Yemeni Naval Forces carried out a military operation against two container ships, MSC Alanya and MSC PALATIUM III, heading to the Israeli entity, targeting them with two suitable naval missiles.

On December 18, the Yemeni Naval Forces carried out a qualitative military operation against two ships linked to the Zionist entity, the first being the Swan Atlantic, loaded with oil, and the other being the MSC Clara carrying containers, targeting them with two naval drones.

On December 26, the Armed Forces announced the success of a dual operation targeting the ship MSC United with a naval missile and hitting Umm Al-Rishrash with reconnaissance drones in support of the Palestinian people.

On December 31, the Armed Forces announced the success of a naval operation targeting the container ship Maersk Hangzhou, heading to the occupied ports of Palestine.

On January 3, the Armed Forces confirmed the targeting of the ship CMA CGM TAGE, heading to the occupied ports of Palestine.

On January 10, the Armed Forces announced that the Naval Forces, Rocketry Force, and the Air Force carried out a joint military operation with a large number of ballistic and naval missiles and drones targeting an American ship supporting the Zionist entity. This operation came as an initial response to the treacherous attack suffered by the Yemeni Naval Forces by the US forces on December 31.

On January 15, the Armed Forces announced the targeting of an American ship in the Gulf of Aden with some suitable naval missiles, and the hit was precise and direct.

On January 16, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced targeting the ship Zografia, heading to the ports of occupied Palestine, with several suitable naval missiles, and the hit was direct.

On January 17, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced targeting the American ship Genco Bekardi in the Gulf of Aden with several suitable naval missiles, and the hit was precise and direct.

On January 19, the Armed Forces announced that the naval forces targeted the American ship Chem Ranger in the Gulf of Aden with suitable naval missiles.

On January 22, the Armed Forces announced targeting the American military cargo ship Ocean Jazz in the Gulf of Aden with suitable naval missiles, and the hit was precise and direct.

On January 25, Yemen’s Armed Forces announced a direct hit on a US warship, compelling two American commercial vessels to retreat during a two-hour engagement with American destroyers and warships in the Gulf of Aden.

On January 27, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of a targeting operation against the British oil ship Marlin Luanda using appropriate naval missiles in the Gulf of Aden, resulting in a direct hit and subsequent ignition.

Sana'a's firmness and the failure of the American coalition

It is noteworthy that the Yemeni military operations against ships took a different course since the attack by American forces on December 31, 2014, on Yemeni naval boats in the Red Sea, which resulted in the martyrdom of 10 individuals. This was followed by the American and British aggression on Sana'a and several provinces since January 12th.

In addition to the failure of the American-British coalition to break the siege on the Zionist entity, they found themselves involved in a battle without a horizon, with their ships like floating ducks facing ballistic, winged, maritime missiles, and drones targeting their ships from deep within Yemeni territory.

These strikes, which are the first of their kind in military history, reflect Yemen's possession of capabilities that Washington was unaware of, disrupting its calculations and expectations, especially in the face of Sana'a's promise to respond to the aggression of Washington and London, according to observers.

Deputy Director of Moral Guidance in the Armed Forces, Brigadier Abdullah bin Amer, revealed that the American side has come to realize the implementation of the naval blockade from the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea gateways on the Zionist entity. Sana'a remains steadfast in the face of attempts to breach the blockade, affirming that Sana'a has options to respond to American escalation in the Red Sea, warning against turning the Red Sea into a battlefield as a result of American foolishness."

Regarding the Yemeni military strikes against the enemy entity, Colonel Ben Amer said, "The armed forces are working on launching missiles and drones towards occupied Palestine, benefiting from previous operations. It involves target selection, as well as attempts to overcome American interception systems and their tools in the region."

He revealed that "there are specialized entities within the armed forces working through study and evaluation of each military operation to make the next military operation better in terms of execution, target identification, and efforts to achieve the targets and register painful strikes against the Zionist entity. They are also working on accumulating experiences and improving their performance in relation to these strikes."

Despite Sana'a's insistence on imposing a maritime blockade on the Zionist entity until the siege and aggression on Gaza are lifted, and exclusively targeting the entity's ships and recently American and British ships due to their foolishness in attacking Yemen, Sana'a is keen on the security and safety of maritime navigation for the rest of the world, as confirmed by the continuous efforts of the Yemeni armed forces, senior leaders, and Yemeni politicians.

Statistics on the passage of ships through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait confirm the truthfulness of Sana'a. Since the start of Yemeni operations, the number of ships that have crossed amounts to 4,874 commercial ships, meaning that more than 70 ships pass daily since the start of Yemeni operations in the Red Sea.

This demonstrates the precision of Yemeni maritime operations, which mention the names of the targeted ships as evident in their military statements. These statements also confirm their continued operations in the Red and Arabian Seas against Israeli ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine until the aggression stops and food and medicine are allowed to enter the besieged Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
