Yemen’s Naval Operation Targeting British Ship Significant Blow to Zionist’s Protectors

Yemen: The qualitative operation carried out by the Yemeni naval forces on Friday against a British oil tanker represents a new development in the historical Yemeni military strategy to support the Palestinian people.

Whether in terms of the effective and influential pressure exerted on the enemy to stop its criminal war and siege on Gaza, or in terms of the equation of responding to attacks against Yemen, the identity of the ship and the significant damage it suffered due to the fire that lasted for more than 12 hours conveyed clear messages that Yemen still possesses many effective and painful options that can make the continuation of aggression and the siege on Gaza, as well as the ongoing attacks on Yemen, a great suicidal risk for both the Zionist enemy and its backers.

According to the operating company, Trafigura, of the British oil tanker "Marlin Luanda", the ship continued to burn until Saturday evening, which was also confirmed by the British Maritime Operations Command, stating that the fire was finally extinguished at 4 pm, about 19 hours after the attack was reported.

The Indian Navy published photos on Saturday showing the ship engulfed in flames.

However, the operating company and the British Maritime Trade Operations clearly affirmed the safety of all their crew members, which reaffirms the accuracy and ethics of the Yemeni attacks. So far, no injuries have been reported among the crews of the targeted ships, despite the significant damage inflicted on several vessels.

The identity and cargo type of the ship were prominent factors in the operation. This is the first time a direct attack has been carried out against a British ship since the beginning of the Yemeni naval attacks, which confirms the intelligence superiority of the Yemeni armed forces. According to information published by "U News" agency, the ship was carrying fuel for warplanes and was heading towards the Zionist entity, not Greece as indicated by its data. The Yemeni forces were aware of this beforehand.

Thus, the strike came within two parallel equations: Firstly, to prevent any supplies from reaching the enemy, and secondly, to respond to Britain's involvement in the aggression against Yemen.

The United Kingdom's blatant indifference to its involvement made the Yemeni strike a powerful blow that could have significant implications domestically. From the beginning, there has been little support in the UK for London's participation in the attack on Yemen.

The Guardian newspaper considered this war "unwinnable," and now the British will have more evidence to realize that their government is not only incapable of winning this war but also risking the British economy, which has already begun to be affected recently.

Insurance companies are now refusing to cover ships associated with the United States and the United Kingdom that pass through the Red Sea, according to Bloomberg.

The other prominent and noteworthy aspect of the strike is the extent of the damage inflicted on the British vessel, Marlin Luanda. This marks the first deliberate act of setting a ship on fire since the commencement of naval operations in November. It signifies a disciplinary and punitive message, in line with the repeated warnings in recent weeks that attacks on Yemen will not go unanswered.

International news agencies, American and British media have considered the attack on Marlin Luanda to be the largest, given the extensive damage to the ship. This indicates that the message has successfully reached the adversaries, conveying that their involvement in Yemen will not be a mere adventure with controllable consequences.

The burning of the ship will compel insurance companies to adhere to the decision of not covering vessels associated with the United States and Britain in the Red Sea. This will have significant repercussions on the economies of both countries and the future of their respective governments.

Just days ago, the American website "Politico" revealed concerns within the United States about the impact of Yemeni operations on the American economy. Officials and experts in the US are increasingly worried about inflation and the potential rise in oil and commodity prices within the country if Yemeni operations persist, despite the claims from the US administration that the situation is under control.

According to the website, American officials and experts believe that the economic repercussions of Yemeni operations will pose a significant problem for Biden and the Democrats leading up to the elections.

The same risks can be applied to Britain, which has now put its ships within the direct and destructive target circle.

Consequently, targeting American and British ships is inseparable from the main objective of the Yemeni military operation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, which is to exert pressure on the enemy to stop the criminal war on Gaza and lift the brutal siege imposed on its residents. It can be said that this objective has expanded professionally to now pressure the international sponsors of the enemy, foremost among them the United States and Britain, in addition to the ongoing pressure on the Zionist enemy itself.

Thus, this operation sends an additional message to the world that the problem in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea has been and continues to be linked to the ongoing aggression on Gaza, which is now fully recognized by many international parties.

A few days ago, the American newspaper "Financial Times" revealed an attempt by the United States to turn to China in order to exert pressure to stop the Yemeni naval operations.

However, China responded through its foreign ministry spokesperson, confirming that "what is happening at sea is linked to the situation in Gaza, and that the military action against Yemen is not justified but rather "adding fuel to the fire," according to the spokesperson.

In addition to all of the above, the burning of the British ship reaffirms the resilience of the Yemeni position militarily and politically and the difficulty of circumventing, surpassing, or controlling it.

The operation came after a historic battle in which the armed forces overwhelmingly defeated a fleet of American ships in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, resulting in a direct hit on an American warship.

This represents a clear message that Yemen is moving forward with a high ceiling of influential and effective options, and that all the pressure and blackmail tools relied upon by the United States and Britain will have no impact on this movement, let alone its cessation. Rather, this movement will continue on an escalating path with more diverse surprises.
