News - Yemen: Yemen's Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, affirmed that Yemen, in terms of leadership, government, people, and army, is stronger and more resilient than to be shaken by the criminal attacks of the US-British-Zionist aggression.

"The continuation of the treacherous US-British aggression is a blatant violation of Yemen's sovereignty and destabilizes the security and stability of the region," Minister Al-Atifi stated during an exceptional meeting on Tuesday with naval and coastal defense leaders. "The aggressors fail to realize that the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces will not be intimidated by the internationally prohibited missiles and bombs of America, nor will they be deterred by fleets, aircraft carriers, and destroyers from fulfilling their religious, national, humanitarian, and moral duties towards the suffering of the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem."

He added that the US administration manipulates the international value system according to its political interests, wars, and aggression against people, with Yemen being among its primary targets.

Al-Atifi considered the classification of the Yemeni people's supportive positions towards Gaza as terrorism by the US regime to be a mockery, stating, "America is fundamentally a terrorist state, a sponsor of terrorism and terrorists, and a leader in genocide, assassinations, and supporter of Zionist brutality."

He said that the American and Zionist entities are always a symbol of chaos, destruction, vandalism, killing, and international terrorism, and they are effectively undermining security, safety, and stability and do not believe in peace. He affirmed that the strategy of seeking revenge and punishment for the transgressions of Washington and London is coming, and every source of pain and distress to them will be targeted, making them regret their actions.

The Minister of Defense continued, "From the Red Sea, we tell them that we are the ones who will bring a painful end to American dominance, which is writing its demise." He pointed out that the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, understands the nature of the challenges, consequences, and implications of closing the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea to the Zionists.

He clarified that the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council have taken all estimated steps, both near and far-reaching and that they are prepared for a long-term confrontation with the forces of tyranny. He stated that they have enough faith and conviction to reinforce strategic patience in accomplishing the responsibilities of this critical phase in the history of the nation, the region, and Yemen.

He added, "The Americans, the British, and those who align with them should realize the strength of Yemeni sovereign decision-making. There is no debate or compromise in this regard, and we will make the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden a relentless fire barrier that will not spare the Zionists and those who support them. We will not allow them to be a lifeline that nourishes their brutality and crimes against our people in Palestine."

He added, "The Americans, the British, and those who align with them should realize the strength of Yemeni sovereign decision-making. There is no debate or compromise in this regard, and we will make the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden a relentless fire barrier that will not spare the Zionists and those who support them. We will not allow them to be a lifeline that nourishes their brutality and crimes against our people in Palestine."

Major General Al-Atifi reiterated the warnings of the Yemeni Armed Forces to the savage imperial powers represented by the United States and the United Kingdom against their malicious efforts to internationalize and militarize the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden.

He also emphasized the failure of the American and British attempts to form a naval alliance against Yemen, which led them to commit acts that violated international laws and norms, endangering the international maritime route in the Red Sea, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea creating artificial disturbances and spreading fears and threats to companies and shipping vessels passing through them.

Yemenis have openly expressed their support for Palestine's resistance against Israeli occupation since the regime initiated a devastating war on Gaza on October 7. 

Yemeni Armed Forces vow to continue their attacks until Israel ceases ground and aerial offensives in Gaza, where the regime has claimed nearly 27,000 lives since October 7.

The Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi considers confronting the United States directly a "great honor and blessing."

These attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.
