Yemen’s Operations Strong Presence in Support of Palestinians Oppressed in Gaza

Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces have imposed a new reality on the future of the Arab conflict with the Zionist entity and surprised the world with their strong and exceptional presence in support of the oppressed in the Gaza Strip.

In the Yemeni military operations since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Storm, over 200 drones, more than 50 ballistic and cruise missiles were used. These operations varied from targeting the ports in southern occupied Palestine, specifically the "Umm Al-Rashrash" port, using ballistic missiles and drones, to maritime operations aimed at preventing Israeli or Israeli-affiliated ships from passing through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea. There were also instances of targeting American and British ships in the Gulf of Aden.

These operations come in the context of continuous Yemeni support for the Palestinian people who are facing a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip. The Yemeni armed forces have linked the cessation of these operations to the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the siege on the Gaza Strip, principles that the Yemeni revolutionary and political leadership cannot deviate from.

Prior to entering the Red Sea battle, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched ballistic missiles and drones at the "Umm Al-Rashrash" port, or what the enemy calls "Eilat," causing terror within the enemy entity that was surprised by these strikes coming from Yemen.

It became a nightmare for them amidst their battle in the Gaza Strip. These operations continued for several weeks before transitioning to a harsher option against the Zionist enemy, which was imposing a blockade on it in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

Taking control of the Galaxy ship:

The Yemeni Armed Forces moved to the second phase of the confrontation with the Zionist entity, which involved preventing Israeli ships from passing through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea. Despite the disregard for this decision by the Zionists and others, they were surprised by the qualitative military operation carried out by the naval forces on November 14, 2023. This operation involved seizing the Israeli ship "Galaxy Leader" and escorting it to the port of Hodeidah in western Yemen.

To emphasize the success of the operation and the qualitative tactics used in seizing the ship, the military media broadcasted footage of the operation, which was distributed to Yemeni and international media outlets. These media outlets still preserve this footage as an important historical document.

The Zionists believed that the seizure of the "Galaxy" ship was an exceptional event, and that Yemen would not risk any further operations. However, Yemen proceeded with its historic decision, and the second operation took place on December 3rd.

It targeted the ships "Unity Explorer" and "Number Nine" after they disregarded warning messages not to pass through the Red Sea. These ships attempted to breach the maritime blockade imposed on the Israeli entity, but the naval forces swiftly targeted them with naval missiles and drones. With this operation, the naval forces succeeded in imposing their decision to prevent Israeli ships from navigating the Red Sea.

On December 9, 2023, due to the Zionist enemy's continued commission of horrific massacres, genocide, and siege against our brothers in Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the second stage of escalation against the Zionist entity. This stage involved preventing the passage of all ships heading to the Zionist entity, regardless of their nationality, unless they delivered the necessary food and medicine to the Gaza Strip. Otherwise, they would become legitimate targets.

Targeting the ships "Strinda" and "Mercy Gibraltar":

Three days after this announcement, the first operation was carried out against the Norwegian ship "Strinda," which was heading to the occupied ports of Palestine, on December 12, 2023. It was targeted with a suitable naval missile.

Just two days later, on December 14, the naval forces in the Yemeni armed forces executed a military operation against the container ship "Mercy Gibraltar," which was heading to the Israeli entity. It was targeted with a drone, and a direct hit was achieved after the ship's crew refused to respond to the calls of the Yemeni naval forces. While the Yemeni navy was attempting to prevent the ship "Mercy Gibraltar" from continuing its voyage, it also successfully prevented the passage of several other ships heading to the Israeli entity in response to the warnings issued by the naval forces.

Targeting the ships "MSC Alanya and MSC PALATIUM III":

Due to the Zionist entity's need for food and fuel, several ships attempted to breach the Yemeni blockade by disguising themselves through deceptive plans prepared by the American Navy. However, Yemeni intelligence managed to detect, track, and target these ships.

On December 15, 2023, our naval forces carried out a military operation against the container ships MSC Alanya and MSC PALATIUM III which were heading to the Zionist entity. They were targeted with suitable naval missiles after their crews refused to respond to the calls of the Yemeni naval forces and the warning messages.

Targeting "Swan Atlantic" and "MSC Clara":

On December 18, 2023, the Yemeni naval forces executed a qualitative military operation against two ships associated with the Zionist entity. The first ship, Swan Atlantic, was carrying oil, and the second ship, MSC Clara, was carrying containers. They were targeted with naval aircraft.

Targeting MSC United:

The naval forces in the Yemeni armed forces continued their operations, reaffirming their determination to implement their decision to prevent any ship heading to the ports in the Zionist entity. This led to a disruption in the movement at the Eilat port and the Zionists acknowledging significant economic losses.

Despite these operations, the enemy's ships persisted in attempting to break the blockade but were unsuccessful. On December 26, 2023, the Yemeni armed forces announced the execution of a dual operation. They targeted the ship MSC United with a naval missile and also struck "Umm Al-Rashrash" with drones in support of the Palestinian people.

The armed forces emphasized in a statement that, in solidarity with the Palestinian people who are subjected to killings, destruction, siege, and starvation, they carried out an operation to target the commercial ship MSC United with suitable naval missiles. They clarified that the operation came after the ship's crew refused, for the third time, to respond to the calls of the naval forces and the repeated warning messages.

Targeting "Maersk Hangzhou":

On December 31, 2024, and in conjunction with the American and British threats and the enemy's attempt to diminish the Yemeni position, the American enemy targeted three boats belonging to the Yemeni Navy that were carrying out their official duties in securing stability, protecting maritime navigation, and fulfilling their humanitarian and moral responsibilities in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people. This led to the martyrdom of 10 naval forces during direct clashes while preventing the container ship "Maersk Hangzhou" from reaching the occupied ports of Palestine.

Targeting the ship "CMA CGM TAGE":

The Yemeni armed forces began the new year, 2024, with an operation to support Gaza on January 3, 2024. Our armed forces announced the targeting of the ship CMA CGM TAGE, which was heading towards the occupied ports of Palestine. This came amidst the confirmation of our forces' continued prevention of Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied ports of Palestine from navigating in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea in order to provide the necessary food and medicine for the Gaza Strip.

Targeting an American ship:

Since the American side did not take the warnings of the Yemeni armed forces seriously, the Armed Forces announced on January 10, 2024, a military operation targeting an American ship that was providing support to the Zionist entity. This move made the American side a legitimate target as a result of its aggression against Yemen and its armed forces. They emphasized that targeting the American ship was an initial response to the treacherous attack that the naval forces had suffered at the hands of the American enemy on December 31 of the previous year.

Only a few days passed since the Yemeni warning, and they carried out a new targeting operation, catching the enemy off guard and beyond their expectations. The Yemeni naval forces targeted an American ship in the Gulf of Aden on January 15, 2024, with several missiles in response to the American-British aggression against Yemen and in support of the Palestinian people. It was emphasized that all American and British military units involved in aggression against Yemen are now considered targets.

Zografia Under Fire

On January 16, 2024, Yemeni Armed Forces announced the targeting of the ship "Zografía," which was heading towards the occupied ports of Palestine. They reiterated their commitment to taking all defensive and offensive measures within the framework of the legitimate right to defend Yemen and to continue their practical solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.

Despite the American and British threats against Yemen, aimed at deterring Armed Forces from continuing their heroic stance in support of the besieged people of Palestine, those threats have only strengthened Yemen's resolve and determination.

Yemen has intensified the development and manufacturing of its military arsenal, including advanced missile systems, as confirmed by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi, in his speech. He stated that "the more the Zionist aggression and blockade on Gaza continue, the more the Yemeni forces will develop their weapons, making them more effective and impactful."

Targeting Genco Bekardi and Chem Ranger

On January 17, 2024, our armed forces announced the targeting of the American ship "Genco Bekardi" in the Gulf of Aden with several advanced naval missiles. Furthermore, on January 19, 2024, Yemeni armed forces carried out a targeting operation against the American ship "Chem Ranger" in the Gulf of Aden using suitable naval missiles. It was emphasized that any further aggression will not go unanswered.

Targeting Ocean Jazz

The strikes on American ships continued, and on January 22, 2024, Yemeni armed forces announced the targeting of the American military cargo ship "Ocean Jazz" in the Gulf of Aden using appropriate naval missiles.

As usual, the Yemeni armed forces affirmed that these operations are a victory for the just cause of the Palestinian people and a support for the resilience of the people in Gaza. They also serve as a response to the American-British aggression on Yemen. The statement reiterated the commitment to keep maritime navigation open in the Arabian and Red Seas to all destinations worldwide, except for the occupied ports of Palestine, until the aggression ends and the blockade on the resilient Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted.

Targeting American Destroyers and Ships

The pace of targeting American ships escalated as they persisted in protecting Israeli vessels and attempting to break the Yemeni naval blockade imposed on the Zionists.

On January 24, 2024, the Yemeni armed forces carried out a qualitative military operation against the American destroyers and military ships in the Gulf of Aden and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. They engaged with a number of American destroyers and warships while those ships were providing protection to two American commercial vessels.

The statement from the Yemeni armed forces confirmed a direct hit on an American warship and forced the two American commercial vessels to retreat and turn back. The statement also mentioned that the clash lasted for more than two hours and involved the use of several ballistic missiles.

Targeting the British oil ship " Marlin Luanda”

Britain entered the line of fire after its persistence and participation with the United States in the aggression against Yemen, believing that Yemen would submit to its dominance and arrogance.

However, the response to the British came on January 26, 2024, when the Yemeni armed forces announced their ability to target a British oil ship, the " Marlin Luanda," with a number of suitable naval missiles. The hit was direct, leading to its burning.

The British acknowledged the ship's hit, and images and videos were shown through international media outlets, showing the ship on fire and the signs of destruction.

Targeting the American ship "Lewis B. Puller"

The latest of these operations until the moment of writing this report was on the evening of Sunday, January 28, 2024, when the naval forces of the Yemeni armed forces launched a suitable naval missile targeting a ship belonging to the American Navy, the "Lewis B. Puller," while sailing in the Gulf of Aden.

According to the statement of the Yemeni armed forces, among the tasks of this ship is to provide logistical support to the American forces participating in the aggression against Yemen. The targeting operation comes as part of the military measures taken by the Yemeni armed forces to defend Yemen and as a confirmation of support for the oppressed Palestinian people.

With each targeting operation, the Yemeni armed forces affirm, as usual, that these operations are a victory for the just cause of the Palestinian people and a support for the resilience of the people in Gaza. They are also a response to the American-British aggression on Yemen and a confirmation of the continuation of maritime navigation in the Arabian and Red Seas to all destinations worldwide, except for the occupied ports of Palestine, until the aggression ends and the blockade is lifted from the resilient Palestinian people in Gaza.
