News - Yemen: Industry and Trade Minister Mohammed Sharaf Al-Mutahhar confirmed the successful implementation of decisions to boycott American goods and products supporting the Zionist entity in the Yemeni market. The boycott aims to demonstrate solidarity with the Palestinians and their courageous resistance against Zionist terrorism.

"Field data and indicators validate the effective execution of the ministry's boycott decisions on the ground, with an unprecedented popular response," the Minister stated. "This reflects the unwavering spirit of the Yemeni people, who act with faith, morals, and humanitarian responsibility towards the oppressed Palestinians facing massacres and genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy and its supporters, the forces of arrogance and hegemony."

He emphasized that the boycott is an inevitable and unanimous decision to stand with the Palestinian brothers amidst the current challenges. "This decision showcases our unity and strength as a society that upholds justice and humanity."

The Minister highlighted that the boycott is not just an economic measure but also a strong manifestation of broad Yemeni solidarity with the Palestinian people and their just cause. It affirms Yemen's firm and principled position in supporting Palestine and the mujahideen in the occupied territories, particularly in Gaza.

He asserted that the Yemeni people's support for Palestine, evident in numerous marches that impressed the world, was mirrored in the success of the boycott decisions, representing the diverse orientations and segments of the Yemeni population.

The Minister acknowledged the extensive response to the boycott decisions in the occupied territories, underscoring the authenticity and steadfastness of the Yemeni people despite significant challenges.

Furthermore, the Industry and Trade Minister expressed gratitude to the private sector for their responsible response to the boycott decisions. They collaborated to find alternative products while prioritizing local goods and seizing opportunities to meet local market demands.

On November 4, Yemen's Industry and Trade Minister issued a set of decisions to ban commercial advertisements for products from American companies that provide support to the Zionist entity. 

These decisions include prohibiting billboards on streets, roads, public places, shopping centers, and other means of promoting products from American companies. This move is part of a broader effort to boycott products from companies that endorse the Zionist entity.
