Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to target American ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, disregarding ongoing American threats. The latest threat includes the classification of "Ansarullah" on the so-called "terrorism" list, which takes effect mid this month.

Days ago, the US Ambassador to Yemen, Stephen Fagin, wrote a post on the social media platform "x," issuing a veiled threat that the classification of "Ansarullah" would be effective on February 16. He hinted that the White House could reconsider the decision if Sanaa halted its attacks in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

In a swift and practical response to this post, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Monday the execution of a new maritime operation targeting an American ship in the Red Sea. 

The operation conveyed several important messages, notably that Yemen's support for Gaza will not cease, regardless of temptations and challenges. The Americans need to understand this well, and the solution to halt Yemeni operations in the Red Sea lies not in classifying Yemenis as "terrorists" but in stopping the aggression and lifting the siege on Gaza.

Military expert Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Zubairi believes that Yemen's continued targeting of American ships is a triumph for the just cause of the Palestinian people facing genocidal warfare in Gaza. It also serves as a response to the US-British aggression on Yemen.

Al-Zubairi affirms that Yemeni operations will not cease unless medicine and food enter Gaza, and the savage Israeli aggression on Gaza and occupied Palestine stops. 

He calls on Americans and the British to comprehend this reality before the confrontation escalates further, emphasizing that the targeting of the American ship "Star Iris" despite American threats and the approaching deadline is a clear sign that Yemen's Armed Forces and leadership reject your threats and pay no attention to your declared ultimatum. We will persist regardless of the cost, and we will not stop except on our terms.

Since Yemen's support for Gaza began after the "Operation Storm of Al-Aqsa," the United States has sent numerous messages of encouragement and intimidation to dissuade Yemen from its clear and declared stance of preventing Israeli-bounded ships from crossing the Red Sea. 

Writer and political activist Radwan Sbeia emphasizes that Yemen is stronger than America and its threats, and any escalation will be met with further escalation. He notes that America faces a significant dilemma in the Red Sea, incapable of confronting the Yemeni Armed Forces that have shattered its authority and destroyed its ships and warships in the Red and Arabian Seas.
