News - Middle East: Fighters from Lebanon’s resistance movement Hezbollah have conducted strikes against Israeli military positions, demonstrating their solidarity with the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Lebanon’s Arabic-language al-Mayadeen television news network, citing a Hezbollah statement, reported that the group used two heavy-caliber Burkan (Volcano) missiles to precisely target a gathering of Israeli troops on the Cobra Hill in the northern sector of the 1948 Israeli-occupied territories on Saturday.
It later said Hezbollah forces “directly” targeted Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Dhayra military outpost.
The resistance group also struck the Ramya outpost with a number of rockets.
Israeli warplanes, meanwhile, bombed a house in the southern Lebanese border town of Blida, according to local sources.
Israeli artillery shelling also hit the southern border town of Kfarkela, with no reports of possible casualties immediately available.
