News – Yemen: Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, Yemen's Minister of Defense, reiterated that Yemen, including its Armed Forces and naval units, only encounters ships belonging to or serving the agenda of the Zionist enemy entity. He affirmed that maritime passage remains secure, and no ships other than those associated with the Zionist entity will be targeted.

Al-Atifi also emphasized Sana'a's commitment to uphold all international agreements and treaties that safeguard Yemen's dignity and sovereignty, rejecting any form of guardianship or domination.

"We are custodians of the maritime passage in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait," he added. "No one will have sovereignty over our regional waters, or over Yemen's new, recovered, strong, and powerful geopolitical presence in international forums."

Major General Al-Atifi pointed out that "Yemen is not concerned with America's calculations as long as the US administration remains captive to Zionist interests. The USA should not assume that Yemen revolves around it or that it can intimidate Yemenis with its weapons and power."

He affirmed that maritime security in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea has been properly restored after the elimination of Zionist dominance in these seas, which has always been a constant threat.

Major General Al-Atifi also addressed the Yemeni military equation for the Naval Forces, emphasizing that sincere, strict, and effective instructions from a wise leader, represented by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, have been given to restore the identity of the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, which were hijacked by the Zionists and those involved in the global Zionist vortex.

Accordingly, Major General Al-Atifi clarified that as long as the Zionist massacres continue in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, Yemen will continue to carry out its missions against the usurping Zionist entity. 

"Yemenis will not stop until its aggression and crimes against the innocent people in the occupied territories cease," he said. "This is a promise they have made and will not back down from. In Yemen, when they say something, they act upon it."

The Minister of Defense further explained that the Yemeni people have been subjected to intense aggression, suffocating blockade, and international conspiracy for nine years, while everyone remained silent and took twisted positions. 

He continued, saying, "Our Yemeni people have paid a high price, and Washington did not allow peace to be achieved, nor did it support the establishment of security and stability in Yemen. On the contrary, the aggressive capital, Washington, has contributed to and supported the Zionist entity in the extermination of the Palestinian people, who are our brothers in geography, humanity, and Islam."

He pointed out that it is difficult for the Yemeni people and the Armed Forces to stay away from this equation. However, due to the requirements imposed on the Yemenis, they must be at the forefront and lead the way in confronting the Zionist project.

Major General Al-Atifi emphasized that the US and the savage capitals, led by London and Tel Aviv, must get used to the new position in the Red Sea. They need to forget their dominant influence over the strategic waters of this sea. They should realize that Yemen no longer accepts what they used to arrange and organize within the framework of maritime security in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea.

He said, "America, Britain, and Israel must understand that the practice of reducing geography and claiming guardianship over the seas has been rejected and is unwelcome. They should accept a new equation that preserves the security, stability, and sovereignty of countries over their regional waters and continental shelf."

He added, "Everyone should understand that the Yemeni decision will not be affected as long as blood flows in our veins and as long as our hands remain on the trigger, whether others accept or refuse."

The Minister of Defense clarified that the Yemeni Armed Forces, under the guidance and supervision of the revolutionary leadership, have worked on further development, modernization, and intensive programs for all their formations. This is to be constantly prepared and highly ready for effective management in participating in the promised victory and sacred jihad battle. They are prepared to engage in any confrontation that requires Yemen's accelerated participation and to accomplish any assigned tasks supported by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council. This is in light of the specific challenges that characterize this inflamed stage open to all possibilities.

He continued, "Yemen is a haven for peace, partnership, construction, generosity, and humanity, especially when intentions are sincere. However, when challenges escalate, and enemies of Allah, the nation, and Yemen conspire to impose evil and tyranny, another hand emerges, and its loyal men are found as steadfast mountains against their enemies, strong and firm in their positions. They hasten to restore balance, regain sound positions, and remove symbols of evil, oppression, arrogance, and dominance."

The Minister Al-Atifi addressed the leaders, saying"We have complete confidence that you are aware and responsible for what is happening and what the enemies and those who revolve in their orbit are plotting. Therefore, we urge everyone to maintain vigilance, high morale, integrated combat readiness, and increased torment of the enemies. As long as we are united under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, victory is certain in the battle of the promised victory and sacred jihad."

On their part, the leaders, on behalf of their military units, renewed their commitment to high readiness in executing the assigned tasks to defend national sovereignty against any aggressors. They emphasized that their advanced defensive and offensive military capabilities could foil the schemes and conspiracies of the enemies of the homeland, people, and nation.

Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against Zionist occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, following the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance movements.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that they will not cease retaliatory strikes against ships in the Red Sea with owners linked to Israel or those going to and from ports in the occupied territories. The maritime attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.
