Saudi Arabia Prevents Military Action for US-UK Aggression Against Yemen from Its Soil

News - Middle East: The American "Al-Monitor" website reported that the administration of the U.S. President Joe Biden is seeking more support from Gulf countries in an attempt to halt "Yemeni attacks" on commercial shipping.

The site stated in an article on Wednesday that Saudi Arabia prevented the U.S. military from launching strikes in Yemen from bases on Saudi soil, leaving a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier responsible for the campaign in the Red Sea.

It was previously stated by the Deputy Commander of U.S. Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper, that the fight against Yemen in the Red Sea is the largest battle waged by the U.S. Navy since World War II.

Cooper explained that the U.S. Navy has deployed around 7,000 sailors to the Red Sea and launched about 100 surface-to-air missiles against the missiles and drones of the Yemeni Armed Forces.

The United States and Britain have been carrying out strikes on Yemen since Washington and its allies offered unqualified support to the Tel Aviv regime. They have warned that Yemeni forces will face consequences for attacks against Israeli-owned ships or merchant vessels heading to the occupied territories.

Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against Zionist occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, following the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance movements.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that they will not cease retaliatory strikes against ships in the Red Sea with owners linked to Israel or those going to and from ports in the occupied territories. The maritime attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.

Recently, Gaza's Health Ministry said over 30 thousands people, mostly women and children, had been killed in the war that the regime started following an operation staged by the Palestinian territory's resistance movements.
