News - Yemen: British maritime security firm Ambrey reported that an Israeli container ship, flying the Liberian flag, was targeted approximately 88 nautical miles southeast of Aden, Yemen.

The company stated that the ship was hit and issued a distress signal but did not disclose further details.

Israeli, American, and British ships are being targeted by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and in solidarity with the Palestinian people facing a genocidal war by the Zionist entity.

The Armed Forces have affirmed that they will not cease targeting these ships unless the aggression is halted, and the blockade on Gaza is lifted. They also assure that navigation in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea is safe for all nations.

Yemenis have openly expressed their support for Palestine's struggle against Israeli occupation, particularly intensified after Israel launched a devastating attack on Gaza on October 7. 

Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they would prevent the Israeli-bounded ships from moving through the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandab strait until the Israeli aggression against Gaza stopped and the siege was lifted. 

In response, the United States and the United Kingdom have conducted airstrikes in Yemen. This action follows the Biden administration and its allies providing unqualified support to the Tel Aviv regime. They have stated that Yemeni forces will face consequences for any attacks on Israeli-owned ships or vessels heading to the occupied territories.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until the relentless Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza cease. These offensives have resulted in the deaths of at least 30,534 people and injuries to over 71,920 others.
