Iran's Retaliatory Strike Exposing Israel's Vulnerabilities

Middle East: The Islamic Republic of Iran has not been absent from the arena of conflict with the Israeli enemy prior to the historical missile and aerial attack it launched on the occupied Palestine at dawn last Sunday in response to the enemy's targeting of the Iranian consulate in Syria.

Over the past years, Iran has been the most present state in this field, with its significant and continuous support for resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, and the region, blocking the enemy and its American sponsors from turning the entire region into a Zionist camp.

However, the April 14th attack may represent the biggest strategic turning point in Iran's history of involvement in this conflict. It is a significant milestone in the entire conflict's trajectory.

It is the first direct attack by the Islamic Republic on the Zionist enemy, executed with extraordinary military and political professionalism, marking a crucial stage that establishes new regional confrontation rules that the enemy cannot defy, as they are based on solid gains accumulated by the Resistance Axis over decades. This makes it much more than just a routine response or passing event, a fact recognized by the enemy itself.

The attack, announced by the Revolutionary Guard under the name "Operation Al-Waad Al-Sadeq" (The Honest Promise), came after clear assurances from the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran that the Zionist entity would face painful punishment for its crime of targeting the Iranian consulate in Damascus weeks earlier.

Therefore, the execution of the attack itself, from the launch of the first missile and drone, marks the inauguration of a new equation that surpasses the complexities imposed on Iranian presence in the conflict with the Zionist enemy.

The attack ended the stage of strategic patience regarding responding to Zionist aggressions, and from now on, the enemy must consider the direct strikes that the Islamic Republic will launch before any aggression, even beyond its traditional geographical borders.

Israeli media clearly indicated this, stating, "From now on, any clash with Iran could lead to missiles and drones targeting Israel," an extraordinary development. The enemy does not want additional regional firepower targeting it, not to mention Iran, a major regional and international power that never hides its project, prominently featuring the removal of "Israel" from the map.

Therefore, any confrontation with Iran threatens the existential level of the Zionist entity.

Although the Zionist entity attempted to preempt the attack with unprecedented preparations, mobilizing its international and regional allies and friends. This started with the United States and ended with Arab countries such as Jordan and Saudi Arabia, to gather all advanced defensive capabilities to provide a safety net to confront strikes believed to target only limited sites within the occupied territories.

This preparation ultimately turned into a given within the historical slap the enemy received.

Iranian missiles and drones managed to reach the enemy entity in large numbers, covering most of the occupied territories from the Golan Heights to Beersheba, achieving highly accurate strikes on numerous military bases, documented with audio and visual evidence in hundreds of live recordings.

The Israeli enemy army itself and American officials have acknowledged that a number of Israeli military bases were directly hit by Iranian missiles. This proves that any continued conflict sought by the Zionist entity with the Islamic Republic would be an existential catastrophe for it.

According to military experts' estimates, the weapons used by the Revolutionary Guard in the attack were not the most advanced in the Iranian arsenal, and likely did not include hypersonic missiles or aircraft equipped with smart and laser-guided bombs.

Tehran clearly announced that the attack would not be widespread and would consider not escalating tensions in the region. Nevertheless, despite the enemy's preventive measures, these weapons were able to achieve a massive breakthrough not only in its defensive system, but also in the regional and international dome created by its allies with long-range surveillance, tracking systems, defensive missiles, and fighter jets deployed extensively in the region.

Repeating such preventive measures again would be extremely difficult, and even if it happens, repeating it a third or fourth time would be impossible. Even before the enemy is fully exposed, the next Iranian strikes would have already caused significant damage, considering what happened on Sunday morning.

Iran has been keen to clarify this in its statements following the retaliatory operation, affirming that if the Zionist enemy attempts any further foolishness against the Islamic Republic, the next response will be much stronger.

Through the documented footage of the attack and attempts by Zionist defenses to intercept Iranian missiles, it is clear that a variety of weapons were used, including warheads with superior capability to deceive defense systems, in addition to high-speed missiles.

The videos showed several of them reaching their targets accurately, surpassing all interception attempts. Furthermore, drones contributed to "saturating" air and ground defense systems in occupied territories and beyond, revealing a significant capability to neutralize and surpass these systems in any future attack, whether from Iran or from other regional supporting fronts to the Al-Aqsa flood in case the battle intensifies with the Zionist enemy.

What happened on Sunday morning could also be carried out from Lebanese, Yemeni, and Iraqi fronts.

According to Israeli media reports, the cost of attempting to intercept the Iranian attack exceeded $1.3 billion in one night, putting the Zionist enemy face to face with the fact that it is impossible to withstand a broader confrontation with Iran, let alone confront a heated regional confrontation with the entire Axis of Resistance.

Although the Iranian attack was a response to the Zionist enemy's targeting of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, this does not separate it from the context of the Al-Aqsa storm battle and the broader conflict with the enemy.

Even the media machinery of normalized regimes propagates that the enemy's targeting of the consulate was to avenge the role of Iranian advisors in supporting the Al-Aqsa storm battle. Even analyses suggesting that Netanyahu wanted through that crime to escape forward by igniting a broader war in the region also confirm the link between the targeting and thus the Iranian response with the Al-Aqsa storm battle, which has become a nightmare for the occupation government, led by Netanyahu.

The truth is that this nightmare has worsened after the attack, as the Zionist enemy is now caught between two options that worsen its predicament.

Resorting to any new aggression against Iran will lead to another broader response according to Iranian assurances, which will lead to a wider confrontation. Relying on dragging the United States and its tools in the region into this confrontation is a losing bet, as Washington itself realizes that this would be a suicidal gamble.

As for the option of swallowing the Iranian attack, it would be an extremely humiliating admission of defeat and complete failure to impose any regional "deterrence", proving the results of the Al-Aqsa storm battle as the historical blow that ended the era of Zionist arrogance and left the occupation exposed and surrounded by direct regional threats, more existentially dangerous than ever before.

The fierce media campaign employed by the normalized Arab regimes in coordination with the United States and the Zionist entity, to downplay the significance of the Iranian attack, is clear evidence of the enemy and its backers' lack of any third option that does not include affirming the fact that they have received a humiliating blow that changes all the balances of the conflict.
