Yemen Renews Support for Gaza, Urges Action to End Aggression, Lift the Siege

News - Yemen: The head of the National Delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for Gaza.

Abdulsalam tweeted on X, highlighting Gaza's enduring hardships over the past 150 days as the sixth month begins. He emphasized that every drop of Palestinian blood represents a condemnation of America for its continuous support of the Israeli criminal entity.

"As we approach the holy month of Ramadan, we urge our nation, its people, and governments to recognize their responsibility towards Gaza. Offering support in all forms, maintaining steadfastness, and exerting pressure on the aggressors to cease their brutal crimes are more significant to Allah than any other prayers or fasting," he stated.

Abdulsalam commended the Palestinian factions' calls for Ramadan to be a month of solidarity with Gaza. He criticized the indulgence in food delicacies while Gaza suffers from starvation and thirst for five months.

"We echo the voices of the free people of the world and demand, 'Stop your aggression, Zionists, and lift the siege on Gaza. Enough of this madness! Do not be swayed by American and other support. Gaza's resilience proves that the Palestinian people are unyielding and will not abandon their cause, regardless of the sacrifices,'" he continued.

The Israeli regime launched the savage campaign in Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas carried out a surprise operation against the occupying entity in response to the regime’s never-ending atrocities against Palestinians.

The regime has since killed at least 30,600 Palestinians, mostly women and children. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under the rubble.

Yemenis have openly expressed their support for Palestine's struggle against Israeli occupation, particularly intensified after the Israeli devastating attack on Gaza on October 7.

Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they would prevent the Israeli-bounded ships from moving through the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandab strait until the Israeli aggression against Gaza stopped and the siege was lifted.
