News - Yemen: Ambrey Maritime Security Company reported that a ship sustained damage due to an attack southwest of Aden, leading to some of its crew members moving to lifeboats.

Ambrey pointed out that the Yemeni navy informed a US-owned bulk carrier on Tuesday to change its course in the Gulf of Aden.

Additionally, the British Maritime Trade Operations organization confirmed reports from ships in the vicinity, stating they heard a loud explosion and observed a significant column of smoke rising from the area.

According to US officials quoted by the Associated Press, today's attack in the Gulf of Aden targeted a cargo ship owned by an American entity, which was flying the flag of Barbados. This aligns with the vessel that had previously been directed by the Yemeni navy to change its course.

Israeli, American, and British ships are being targeted by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and in solidarity with the Palestinian people facing a genocidal war by the Zionist entity.

Yemenis have openly expressed their support for Palestine's struggle against Israeli occupation, particularly intensified after Israel launched a devastating attack on Gaza on October 7. 

In response, the United States and the United Kingdom have conducted airstrikes in Yemen. This action follows the Biden administration and its allies providing unqualified support to the Tel Aviv regime. They have stated that Yemeni forces will face consequences for any attacks on Israeli-owned ships or vessels heading to the occupied territories.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until the relentless Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza cease. These offensives have resulted in the deaths of at least 30,717 people and injuries to over 72,156 others.
