News - Yemen: Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of the National Delegation, reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering stance alongside Gaza on Thursday until the cessation of Zionist aggression and the lifting of the siege.

"We reaffirm that Yemen's position stands firm alongside Gaza until Israeli aggression ceases, the siege is lifted, and aid enters the Strip," Abdulsalam tweeted on X.

"Yemen will not waver in this position and considers it a religious, humanitarian, and ethical responsibility that obligates every Muslim and free person in this world to stand with Gaza," he added.

Israel initiated its genocidal war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Hamas resistance group carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Tel Aviv regime has also imposed a "complete siege" on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed over 31,000 Palestinians and injured more than 72,000 others.

Yemen has openly supported Palestine’s struggle against Israel since the occupying regime launched its devastating war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory strikes against the Israeli regime’s interests in the Red Sea. The maritime attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.
