News - Yemen: Yemen's Defense Minister Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atefi reiterated on Saturday that Yemen's backing of the Palestinian people in confronting the Zionist enemy remains steadfast and encompasses all possible measures.

He emphasized that the maritime blockade imposed on the occupying entity persists, underscoring that strikes on American and British vessels in all their forms will persist without cessation.

The Defense Minister declared that naval operations against American and British warships or commercial vessels will continue as long as their suspicious activities persist in Yemen's regional waters.

"We will ensure that Washington, London, and their allies recognize that sovereignty over our seas and regional waters is non-negotiable," he added.

General Al-Atefi affirmed Yemen's capability to assert its rights and engage with an international community that respects only strength.

He outlined that the Armed Forces are vigorously enforcing new rules of engagement, for which the American, British, Zionist, and their allies will bear significant consequences.

Furthermore, he emphasized that the battle of "Promised Victory and Holy Jihad" supporting Al-Aqsa Storm will undoubtedly lead to geopolitical changes in alignment with a new world order.

Major General Al-Atefi clarified that Yemenis are not instigators, but the egregious crimes witnessed in Gaza have compelled free peoples to take a stance, including Yemen.

He highlighted that Yemen's involvement in the battle against the Zionist entity and its naval blockade is a sovereign, national, Islamic, and humanitarian decision.

The Defense Minister's statements convey new messages and warnings, placing the Zionist trio (US, UK, and the Israeli enemy) face to face with the reality of the failure of all their attempts to neutralize the influential Yemeni front in the battle for Al-Aqsa Storm.

This also presents them with a dilemma exacerbated by the continuation of genocide and starvation in Gaza, along with aggression against Yemen.

Since the commencement of the Israeli regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation. The Armed Forces have conducted recent attacks on ships with ties to Israel near Yemeni ports, including the interception and seizure of a vessel associated with the Tel Aviv regime on November 19.

The ongoing Israeli siege has inflicted heavy casualties on Palestinians in Gaza, who have been enduring the war since October 7.

Gaza's Health Ministry said nearly 31,553 people, mostly women and children, had been killed in the war that the regime started following an operation staged by the Palestinian territory's resistance movements.
