News - Middle East: The Israeli occupation army radio disclosed that during the Gaza war, the air defense systems safeguarding Eilat were breached three times. Each incident involved an aerial threat originating from different areas, as reported by the radio.

The radio said on Monday that in the first incident, a drone from Syria crossed Jordan and entered Eilat from the east. The second breach involved a cruise missile launched from Yemen that exploded north of Eilat without interception. Finally, a drone from Iraq entered Eilat's airspace from the east via Jordan, causing precise damage to a building in the Gulf of Eilat area.

The radio emphasizes the need for a comprehensive investigation into these breaches to enhance Eilat's protection.

Israel unleashed its war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Hamas resistance group carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Tel Aviv regime has also imposed a “complete siege” on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed 32,845 Palestinians and injured nearly 75,392  others.

In response, Eilat has come under repeated missile and drone attacks from the Axis of the Islamic Resistance in Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria during Israel's almost six-month-old war on Gaza.
