Almasirah Net correspondent in Sa'adah reported that a child was killed in the explosion of a mine left over from US-Saudi aggression in the Ghafra area in Al-Zahir District.
Cluster bombs, mines, explosive objects and shells dropped by the US-Saudi aggression coalition are widespread in various governorates, and their victims are dozens, most of them children.
Numerous regions in Yemen's governorates have been subjected to bombardment by the US-Saudi aggression using cluster bombs. Many of these internationally prohibited munitions still lie scattered among farms and roads, resulting in dozens of victims.
The toll of cluster bomb victims has surpassed 25,000 civilians since the onset of the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.
Landmines and remnants of aggression forces that were planted during their occupation continue to pose threats to residents in various district areas, particularly farms and roads.
According to official statistics, nine governorates in Yemen have witnessed 2,500 cluster bomb raids, including destructive, phosphorous, and piercing bombs, with notable mentions being US CBU-87 bombs, British BL755 bombs, and Brazilian ASTROS II bombs.
