American Military Weakness Exposed: Failed Attempts to Deter Yemeni Operations

News - Yemen: The United States is seeking any means to save face and deter the military operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean.

The US military command has come to the conclusion that the military solution is futile. American and British airstrikes in Yemen have achieved little and have not affected the escalating Yemeni military capabilities.

Multiple media outlets reported that the US recently bolstered its military presence on the island of Socotra, overlooking the Indian Ocean, through a series of measures aimed at countering Yemeni long-range missiles, especially after Yemen's decision to expand the battle to include the Indian Ocean.

Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Department, Colonel Abdullah bin Amer, affirmed that the American presence in Socotra and its occupation of the island and the deployment of defense systems there are clear acknowledgment and recognition of the illegitimate presence of its forces on the Yemeni island.

Bin Amer added in previous statements to the media that the talk of the US about reinforcing its defenses on Socotra confirms the effectiveness of Yemeni attacks towards the Indian Ocean because if there were no successful operations towards the Indian Ocean, the Americans would not need to reinforce their defenses.

Military affairs researcher Zain al-Abidin Othman says that the measures taken by the US enemy in the Socotra archipelago, by deploying a number of missile defense batteries on this island, are a step within a new plan through which the American enemy seeks to contain our offensive operations targeting its ships and the ships of the Zionist enemy in the waters of the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean.

Othman explained that the US wants to turn Socotra Island into a base to enhance its confrontation capabilities and compensate for the shameful failure of its fleets and naval groups, which have proven to be collapsing and failing.

He added that the US is trying to fill this gap by using Socotra Island as a defensive center to intercept missiles and drones and prevent them from hitting its ships and the ships of the Zionist enemy while crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and the Cape of Good Hope, which is considered the last passage line for Zionist navigation after the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea were banned.

Othman emphasized that all the enemy's achievements through its measures are nothing more than recycling of failure. It will not be able to provide any protection for its ships or the ships of the Zionist enemy, whether those sailing from the Gulf of Aden and the Bab el-Mandeb or those sailing across the Indian Ocean and the Cape of Good Hope.

“Our offensive operations are escalating, and our Armed Forces are using advanced missile and aerial systems and have the ability to surpass various air defense systems and fly long distances stealthily and in complex ways," he affirmed.

Weakness of capabilities and a failed attempt

Aref Al-Amiri, speaking on behalf of the anti-aggression parties, said that the reinforcement of American military presence in the southern and eastern Yemeni provinces, especially the occupied Yemeni islands, comes within the framework of an attempt by the US administration to deploy specialized military forces in air and naval defenses. This is considered a reinforcement of its presence on the Yemeni island of Socotra, according to statements by the Pentagon's defense official, who said, "We have reinforced our missile defenses on Socotra Island."

He added that this confirms the American military presence on the island, amidst the silence and complicity of the Saudi-backed Government, which has not made any move regarding this presence.

Al-Amiri added in a special statement to "Almasirah": "This American position clearly indicates the weakness of the capabilities of the American, British, and Western warships and destroyers currently present in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean in repelling Yemeni military operations that have become a cause of concern for the West."

He continued: "With the statements of the Pentagon, and Saudi Arabia's refusal to participate, and the reinforcement of American air and naval defenses in Socotra, this has clear implications, as it is an American acknowledgment of the ability of Sanaa and the national component to strike American targets and interests in the region".

He pointed out that the Pentagon, through its defense official, also said that the defensive systems reinforced in Socotra aim to counter long-range missiles, confirming another acknowledgment that Sanaa now possesses locally manufactured missiles classified according to the American classification as long-range, with ranges reaching thousands of kilometers.

Al-Amiri emphasized that “we find ourselves today facing a reality that must be confronted directly with America, Britain, and the Zionist entity, achieving victory for the Islamic nation and the liberation of occupied Palestine.
