News - Middle East: Hamas, the Islamic Resistance Movement, asserted on Thursday the urgent need for action following the Ministry of Health in Gaza's warning about the critical shortage of fuel supplies in hospitals, endangering the lives of thousands of patients and wounded individuals. 

It called for immediate intervention from the international community and the United Nations to pressure the aggressor to lift its blockade on Gaza, including hospitals, and promptly provide fuel, medicines, and medical supplies.

In a press release, Hamas stated, "The criminal Zionist enemy has targeted hospitals and medical centers in Gaza since the onset of aggression," highlighting Zionist efforts to obstruct their restoration and resupply after significant damage.

The movement emphasized that these actions occur within the context of a genocidal campaign against Gaza civilians, aiming at displacement, while the world remains passive in confronting such brutality.

Hamas conveyed a clear message to the global community, stating, "It is imperative to end this oppressive policy immediately."

Israel initiated its offensive on Gaza on October 7 following actions by the Palestinian Hamas resistance group in response to Israeli provocations against Palestinians.

Additionally, the Tel Aviv regime has imposed a severe blockade on the territory, severely limiting access to fuel, electricity, food, and water for the more than two million Palestinians residing there.
