News - Middle East: Journalist Mohammed Bassam Al-Jamal was killed on Thursday morning in an Israeli bombing that targeted his house in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of journalist casualties has now reached 141 since the start of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, following the death of journalist Al-Jamal.

Al-Jamal, who worked as a journalist for the Palestine Now News Agency, was killed when his house in Rafah Governorate was bombed by the Israeli enemy, along with several members of his family.

The government media office extended its condolences to the families of the martyrs and to the Palestinian journalistic community.

The Gaza Health Ministry has reported a devastating toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression, with 34,305 confirmed deaths and 77,293 injuries over the past 203 days.

Israel initiated its offensive on Gaza on October 7 following actions by the Palestinian Hamas resistance group in response to Israeli provocations against Palestinians.

Additionally, the Tel Aviv regime has imposed a severe blockade on the territory, severely limiting access to fuel, electricity, food, and water for the more than two million Palestinians residing there.
