Amidst the conflict between occupation proxies, major tribes in Lahij, including Al-Alqmah, Al-Ka'allah, Al-Jurttah, and Al-Shbeykah, condemned the "Southern Transitional Council (STC)" militia for harassing and attempting to disarm them while traveling to occupied Aden.
A tribal statement revealed that a group of elders and dignitaries heading to Aden to discuss the resolution of ongoing disputes between the Al-Alqmah and Al-Jubeiha tribes was intercepted by the STC militia at the Sareeh junction. They were provocatively demanded to surrender their weapons and barred from entering Aden.
The statement emphasized that neither the STC nor others can disarm the tribes, threatening confrontation with full force and sacrifice, stating a preference for honorable death over living unarmed and humiliated.
Meanwhile, pro-aggression media outlets reported on Saturday that the "Nation Shield" militia, affiliated with the Saudi occupation, has fully seized key strategic districts northwest of occupied Aden, wresting control from UAE-backed occupation proxies known as the STC.
The "Nation Shield" militia, led by extremist mercenary Bashir Al-Mudribi Al-Sabaihi, has taken control of the Tur Al-Baha district west of Al-Houta city, the capital of Lahij province overlooking the Sha'b and Al-Bariqah areas of occupied Aden, following its recapture from the "Fourth Brigade of Hazm" militia, affiliated with the STC and funded by the UAE. These developments occur within the context of deliberate Saudi-Emirati power struggles at the expense of mercenaries' lives.
According to pro-aggression news sites, the Saudi occupation seeks to encircle the STC militia in Aden and Lahij, preemptively preparing for any future escalations from UAE-backed occupation proxies against the Saudi-Emirati-backed Council leader, mercenary Rashed Al-Alimi.
These operations align with Saudi efforts to end the presence of the STC militia in Aden and the occupied southern provinces, reducing UAE dominance and control over oil-rich eastern provinces, notably Hadramawt and Shabwa.
On the humanitarian front, cholera has become a real threat to citizens' lives in occupied Aden following its widespread outbreak in various areas of the city.
Pro-aggression media outlets, citing medical sources, reported a frightening and catastrophic rise in cholera cases in Aden and neighboring occupied provinces. Al-Sadaqah Hospital received 42 cholera patients within 24 hours, with tests confirming 28 cases, all in critical condition.
The cholera epidemic has rapidly spread in Aden and occupied provinces due to stagnant water pools from sewage and garbage, with occupation authorities preoccupied with building wealth and investments in foreign capitals at the expense of the people's suffering.
In 2015, Saudi and Emirati forces entered the city of Aden from Bir Ali, citing the need to repel the "Houthi-Iranian" intervention and secure international navigation. It didn't take long after the arrival of these forces for the new British-style experiment to take shape.
Since then, Aden and other southern governorates have grappled with pervasive security issues, including daily crimes and instability. Forces aligned with the US-Saudi aggression and Saudi-Emirati occupation maintained control, contributing to a climate of chaos.
The region witnesses frequent abductions, bombings, and factional clashes as various groups vie for power. Additionally, there has been a troubling increase in targeted assassinations, affecting military personnel, security leaders, religious figures, and social leaders across southern Yemen.
