The Telegraph Confirms Failure of US-British Military Campaign in the Red Sea

News - Yemen: A British newspaper confirmed on Sunday the failure of the military campaign led by Washington and London in the Red Sea.

The Telegraph stated in its report on Sunday that the US-British military campaign, along with the European coalition, cannot win the battle in the Red Sea, and all they can do is fight.

It clarified that Yemenis have achieved their objectives by disrupting navigation in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and surrounding seas, depleting the resources of their attackers. Meanwhile, the number of warships deployed in the Red Sea is decreasing, and the rate of US-British counter-strikes against Yemen has become slow.

It pointed out that despite all the American, British, and European military presence in the Red Sea, maritime navigation remains low, and the US has not been able to regain it.

Regarding the decrease in the rate of attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, the newspaper reported that the reason for this is not the weakness of the military capabilities of the Sana'a forces but because the ships they prevented from crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait no longer pass through there, so there are no longer ships to target.

The pace of Yemeni naval operations, carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against ships prohibited from crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, had decreased over the past two weeks. However, it resumed again since the beginning of the current week due to attempts by some prohibited ships to cross the strait under the protection of Western warships, which failed even to protect these targeted ships.

Since the commencement of the Israeli regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation.

Israel initiated its genocidal war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Hamas resistance group carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Tel Aviv regime has also imposed a "complete siege" on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed over 34 thousands Palestinians and injured more than 77 thousands others.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have conducted attacks on ships with ties to Israel near Yemeni ports, including the interception and seizure of a vessel associated with the Tel Aviv regime on November 19.

The maritime attacks have forced some of the world’s biggest shipping and oil companies to suspend transit through one of the world’s most important maritime trade routes.

Tankers are instead adding thousands of miles to international shipping routes by sailing around the continent of Africa rather than going through the Suez Canal.
