News - Yemen: Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Azzi affirmed Tuesday that It is clear that Blinken's recent moves is to prelude attacking Rafah in the besieged Gaza Strip. 

Al-Azzi wrote in a post on his page on the (X) that the movements of US foreign minister are nothing more than a prelude and preparation for the Rafah operation, and there is nothing in Blinken's talks that contradicts this fact, but everything confirms and asserts it clearly.

He continued by saying: "Talking about a ceasefire is misleading because they do not mean a permanent ceasefire, but rather they mean a truce for weeks in exchange for the release of Zionist prisoners and then the resumption of killing."

He added: "It is very clear that Washington wants the prisoners released before the Rafah operation and that is all there is to it," adding that what is provocative is that they are rallying Arab pressure to achieve this brazen desire.

The Deputy Foreign Minister expressed his hope that "the Arab regimes do not respond" to Washington's desire, emphasizing "that it is the duty of the resistance to reject this and insist on a permanent ceasefire."

It was announced that the US Secretary Antony Blinken will travel to Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and “Israel” April 29-May 1 to meet with regional partners. The Secretary will discuss ongoing efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, according to the statement.

At Biden’s behest, the United States has been providing the Israeli war with unreserved military and intelligence support.

The US has also vetoed several United Nations Security Council resolutions calling for an immediate ceasefire in the brutal military onslaught that has so far claimed the lives of at least 34,454 Gazans, mostly women and children.
