News - Yemen: Minister of Information Dhaifallah Al-Shami reiterated Yemen's steadfast backing of the Palestinian people amid the ongoing Zionist aggression against Gaza, backed by clear Western American support.

Al-Shami emphasized that the liberation of Islamic sacred sites remains a non-negotiable principle for Yemen, representing a goal that cannot be compromised under any circumstances.

He underscored that Yemen's commitment to standing by its Palestinian brothers has been unwavering for decades. The events surrounding Al-Aqsa and the atrocities committed by the Zionists there have further solidified Yemen's resolve to uphold this crucial stance.

He pointed out that if the current aggression on Gaza were to cease and the siege lifted, the intensity of operations might diminish. However, as a fundamental principle, as a culture, as readiness, and as a confrontation, it will continue and will not stop.

Al-Shami emphasized, "The Palestinian cause, the liberation of Al-Quds, and safeguarding all Islamic holy sites are strategic imperatives for us, ones that we will steadfastly uphold."

He also made it clear that even if Palestinians were to compromise on their cause, Yemen and its people would not relent, driven by their deeply ingrained values, principles, ethics, faith, and unwavering beliefs.

Furthermore, Al-Shami reaffirmed the religious duty of jihad against Jews, Christians, and the Zionist entity.

Israel initiated its genocidal war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Hamas resistance group carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Tel Aviv regime has also imposed a "complete siege" on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed over 34,000 Palestinians and injured more than 78,000 others.

Yemen has openly supported Palestine’s struggle against Israel since the occupying regime launched its devastating war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory strikes against the Israeli regime’s interests in the Red Sea. The maritime attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.
