President Mashat: We Have Decisive, Bold, and Challenging Options to Force the Enemy into Defeat

News - Yemen: President Mahdi al-Mashat chaired a meeting of the Supreme Committee for the National Campaign to Support al-Aqsa on Wednesday.

During the meeting, President Mashat emphasized the crucial role of the committee in various areas, including organizing events and demonstrations. This effort aligns with the operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces, including the Naval Forces, Rocketry Forces, and Air Forces, in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

He highlighted that this coordination under the leadership and directives of the Leader of the Revolution demonstrates that Yemen's stance is comprehensive at the popular, institutional, and national leadership levels.

"We will continue this path, Allah willing, in all state institutions and public squares across Yemen until we achieve victory for our people in Gaza, end the aggression, and lift the siege on Gaza," he said. "You, in this committee, are part of this resilience in the face of the brutal massacres against our brothers in Gaza by mobilizing the popular positions of Yemenis who gather weekly in numerous squares in an unprecedented manner, unlike any other country."

President Mashat pointed out that, under the influence of the bold, courageous, and wise decisions of the Leader of the Revolution, the Armed Forces have reached the fourth phase, which will commence with unique operations.

"We have decisive, bold, and challenging options if the aggression against our people in Gaza continues. We will continue these phases, Allah willing, which are capable of subjugating the enemy and forcing them into defeat," he added.

The President touched on the current situation in Gaza and the tactical and operational shift in the theater of operations in Gaza recently, describing it as a notable development.

"In short, Netanyahu could have accepted a partial defeat, but due to his foolish decision regarding the confrontation in Gaza, he will be forced to accept a complete defeat. This is the way of Allah, and the Muslim and Arab peoples will rise," he added.

President Mashat noted that the theme of the meeting with the al-Aqsa Committee is the boycott, given its importance as a fundamental pillar in the path of supporting the oppressed.

"Due to the importance of this topic, I wanted to be among you to discuss and come up with tangible results. The boycott is an effective and impactful weapon against our enemies," he added. "We will proceed with that with the awareness of our people and state institutions to minimize the push towards these companies that support Zionism. The boycott is inevitable."

He mentioned that the boycott is divided into two parts: popular, which is an urgent course, and the role of the people is prominent and notable. He expressed gratitude to the Yemeni people for their quick and remarkable response, indicating their awareness, depth, and authenticity. He noted that the popular role has achieved significant progress.

He explained that the second part is the official role, which must be according to a long-term strategic plan.

"We have alternatives, shifting to alternatives is not easy for a state and will not happen in a few days, so the focus should be on the transformative plan," he said. He stressed the need to exploit the boycott aspect to achieve self-sufficiency and local production.

The President emphasized "the importance of boycott being approached with flexibility, persistence, and follow-up, within the transformative plan, granting privileges and facilitations to help ourselves, our state, and our people fully transition and not rely on the hegemonic countries we need to boycott."

President Mashat praised the level of popular awareness regarding the boycott, noting that the recent uproar comes from those harmed by the boycott and some employees of certain organizations, even if under different titles.

"The noise you hear is from those harmed by the boycott, and we have no option but to move towards the boycott, regardless of the noise." He pointed out that "employees of some organizations and others will be silenced and will come to the conviction that we are determined and will continue until the complete boycott."

The President thanked the Yemeni people for their awareness, movement, resilience, and continuous mobilization.

He also thanked the Armed Forces, represented by the Naval Forces, Rocketry Forces, and drone forces, and everyone who has a role or contribution in confronting this arrogant and reckless aggression against our people in Gaza.

Since October 2023, Yemen has launched numerous operations against ships associated with Israel. This initiative began following Israel's genocidal campaign in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces initially targeted Israeli vessels or those en route to ports in the occupied Palestinian territories that could pass through Yemeni maritime areas.

As the Israeli regime persisted in its aggression and siege on Gaza, the strikes expanded to encompass targets across the occupied territories and vessels navigating the Indian Ocean.

Yemen's Armed Forces announced the initiation of the fourth phase of pro-Palestinian operations in May. The Yemeni forces would target all ships bound for Israeli ports in the Mediterranean Sea within their operational reach.

On the popular front, thousands take to the streets of Sana'a and other provinces every Friday in support of Palestinians in Gaza, holding up Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanting slogans in support of Gazans.

Moreover, Yemen's Industry and Trade Minister has issued a set of decisions to ban commercial advertisements for products from American companies that provide support to the Zionist entity.

These decisions include prohibiting billboards on streets, roads, public places, shopping centers, and other means of promoting products from American companies. This move is part of a broader effort to boycott products from companies that endorse the Zionist entity.
