In a statement on Wednesday, Al-Rae'e considered these decisions a positive step in the right direction to affirm the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state.
He pointed out that this step, although late, is the beginning of a sense of responsibility towards the injustice of the Palestinian people after more than 75 years of occupation, killing, destruction, and forced displacement.
"The move also expresses an awakening against the policy of imbalance, in which the international community has lost many legal, humanitarian, and moral considerations," he added.
The Speaker of the Parliament noted that the recognition by Norway, Spain, and Ireland of the State of Palestine came at a time when the Zionist entity has been waging a war on Gaza since last October 7th, resulting in more than 115,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women.
He called on the rest of the countries of the world to stand responsibly for the full recognition of the Palestinian state, expressing gratitude and appreciation to Spain, Norway, and Ireland, and all the countries that have recognized the Palestinian state.
The Speaker of the Parliament reiterated the affirmation of the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
Ireland, Norway, and Spain have formally recognized the Palestinian state, angering the Israeli regime that recalled its ambassadors from the three European states.
The recognition will come into force on May 28.
Most countries in the world already recognize Palestinian statehood.
Prior to the Wednesday announcement, more than 140 out of 193 member states of the United Nations had made their recognition official.
In the past weeks several other European countries indicated a plan to recognize a Palestinian state, saying the move is essential for lasting peace in the region.
The planned recognition will add pressure on Israel as its bloodiest-ever military campaign in the besieged Gaza Strip is in its eighth month now.
The barbarous regime has massacred more than 35,700 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in Gaza since early October.
