In retaliation to US-UK Aggression, Armed Forces Target USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Red Sea

News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced, Friday, that they struck the American aircraft carrier Eisenhower in the Red Sea in response to the US-British aggression and airstrikes on Yemen, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of 58 citizens.

In a statement, the Armed Forces spokesperson said: The US-British aggression carried out several airstrikes over the past hours on the capital, Sana'a, and the provinces of Hodeidah, and Taiz, leading to the martyrdom and injury of 58 citizens.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree explained that the airstrikes were distributed as follows: four airstrikes on the capital Sana'a, resulting in one injury; two airstrikes on Sana'a province; and one airstrike on the Haifan area in Taiz province.

He added that the aggression targeted Hodeidah province with six airstrikes, including one on Al-Salif port, one on the radio building, two on the Ghalifka camp, and two on the homes of Ali Mohsen and Ali Abdullah Saleh.

He indicated that the airstrikes on Hodeidah resulted in 16 martyrs and 41 injured, including civilian martyrs and injured in the airstrikes that targeted civilian sites such as the Hodeidah Radio building in front of Al-Thawra Hospital and the Coast Guard in Al-Salif port. The total number of civilian and military martyrs and injured is 58.

The airstrikes also damaged the Hodeidah Radio building, the Coast Guard building in Al-Salif port, and several commercial ships in the port. This constitutes a clear targeting of civilian objects and a blatant violation of all international laws, representing a complete war crime.

The Armed Forces emphasized that in response to these crimes and as part of the response to the US-British aggression, and in continued support of the oppressed Palestinian people, the Yemeni Armed Forces' Rocketry and naval forces carried out a joint military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier "Eisenhower" in the Red Sea.

They clarified that the operation was carried out with several cruise and ballistic missiles and that the strike was precise and direct.

The Yemeni Armed Forces stressed that they will not hesitate to respond immediately and directly to any new aggression on Yemen territories by targeting all sources of threat and all hostile American and British targets in the Red and Arabian Seas.

The US-UK aggressive airstrikes on Yemen continue in clear violation of Yemeni sovereignty, as an attempt to deter Yemen from its decision to prevent Israeli ships from passing through the Red Sea in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are facing a genocidal war by the savage Zionist entity.

Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against Zionist occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, following the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance movements.

Earlier, the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik, affirmed that Yemen’s operations are continuing within the framework of the fourth stage and will be in a continuous escalation in terms of quantity and quality.

This week, the operations reached 12 operations in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, and towards the Mediterranean Sea with 27 ballistic and winged missiles and drones. He added: "10 of our operations targeted 10 ships associated with the Israeli, American, and British enemy, and ships belonging to companies that have violated the ban on entry to the occupied Palestinian ports."

He said that the total number of targeted ships since the beginning of the support operations is 129 ships, which is a large number, stressing that there is no decline in the level of Yemen’s operations, but rather a decline in the movement of navigation and ship movement from the American, British, and near-absence of Israeli movement.
