News - Yemen: The Yemeni Scholars Association held an extensive meeting in Hodeidah titled "Yemeni Scholars Confronting the US-British Aggression."

During the meeting, the Grand Mufti of Yemen, Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, affirmed that the recent aggression on Hodeidah and other provinces will not shake the steadfast stance of the Yemeni people.

The Grand Mufti stressed that scholars should awaken people from slumber and elucidate the obligations of Islam. He emphasized that reviving the duty of jihad in people's souls is a crucial duty of the nation's scholars.

Meanwhile, Governor of Hodeidah, Major General Mohammed Qahim, emphasized that unity, cohesion, and support for the weak are fundamental principles of Islam, with scholars playing a pivotal role.

He reiterated his commitment to protecting the Red Sea and continuing support for the resistance and the Palestinian people, affirming that no ship will reach the ports of the occupied Palestinian land.

The scholars' meeting condemned the bombings and massacres committed by the aggressors in Hodeidah and other provinces. It praised Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi's decision to announce the fourth stage of escalation in response to the attacks on Gaza.

The statement emphasized the necessity of unity, consensus, solidarity, and preparation to confront the enemies. It condemned the call to transfer banks from Sana'a to Aden by the Saudi-mercenaries, serving US-British aggression and attempting to deter the Armed Forces from supporting the Palestinian people.

The US-UK aggressive airstrikes on Yemen continue in clear violation of Yemeni sovereignty, as an attempt to deter Yemen from its decision to prevent Israeli ships from passing through the Red Sea in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are facing a genocidal war by the savage Zionist entity.

Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against Zionist occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, following the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance movements.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that they will not cease retaliatory strikes. The maritime attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.
