Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns Zionist Massacre at Nuseirat Camp in Gaza

News - Middle East: Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the ongoing Zionist military escalation and its daily war crimes and genocide against besieged Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the occupied Arab territories.

In a statement issued on Saturday evening, it denounced the horrific massacre committed by the Zionist entity targeting the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza Strip, resulting in over 150 martyrs and hundreds of injured.

The Ministry considered the Nuseirat camp massacre a blatant violation of international law, human values, and the UN Charter, especially the four Geneva Conventions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its warning that the ongoing Zionist aggression on Gaza will not be confined to the occupied Palestinian territories but will have serious repercussions on international peace and security, including threats to the security of regimes supporting the Zionist entity.

It called on the international community, especially the United States, Britain, and France as permanent members of the Security Council, to fulfill their responsibilities under the UN Charter and stop their unlimited material, moral, and political support for the Zionist entity, noting that this support threatens the international legal system and the existence of the United Nations.

The Ministry's statement reaffirmed the centrality of the Palestinian cause and urged Arab governments considering future normalization with the Zionist entity to review their positions and support their people's demands for a just solution to the Palestinian issue and the establishment of a Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.

The statement concluded by affirming the steadfast position of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, the government, and the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian cause by all means, including continued military support for Palestinian brothers. This includes preventing the passage of all ships owned by the Zionist entity or heading to occupied Palestinian ports until the Zionist military aggression stops, the blockade is lifted, and humanitarian, food, medical aid, and fuel enter Gaza without obstacles.

At least 210 Palestinians were killed and more than 400 injured on Saturday when Israeli military forces carried out dozens of airstrikes in the besieged territory, particularly in and around the Deir el-Balah and Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The regime’s forces directly targeted civilians, including children, during "a barbaric and brutal aggression" against Nuseirat camp, according to Gaza’s government media office.

At least 36,801 Palestinians, mostly children and women, have been killed and 83,680 people wounded in the war that Israel began on October 7, 2023, following a retaliatory operation by the Palestinian territory’s resistance movements.

The brutal military onslaught enjoys unreserved military and political support from the Israeli regime’s Western allies, including the United States and France.
