Agent Linked to Israeli Mossad Spy Agency, Anti-Iran Media Captured in Central Iran
News - Middle East: Iranian intelligence forces have captured an individual in the country’s central province of Qom on charges of affiliation to the Israeli Mossad spy agency and collaboration with foreign-based media outlets involved in a propaganda campaign against the Islamic Republic.
Tasnim news agency reported that the individual was identified and arrested following his numerous attempts to stoke unrest in the aftermath of the death of 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini while in police custody back in September 2022, as well as his frequent insulting remarks aimed at Iranian authorities and law enforcement forces in the cyberspace.
The report said documents acknowledging his connection to the Israeli Mossad spy agency and collaboration with foreign-based anti-Iran satellite television channels were uncovered after thorough investigations.
He has been handed over to judicial authorities for legal action.
